LVL Up 17u pulled an impressive overtime comeback victory on Thursday afternoon. It was Baskerville II that kept them in the game early on in order to be in position to make the comeback. The explosive guard was aggressive as a driver consistently getting to the rim and finishing against opposing size. He was also incredibly disruptive defensively collecting several steals that led to transition buckets. Baskerville II is a true point guard with high-level athleticism that college coaches should be watching closely this weekend and next.

Baskerville has been the top option for New Haven all season long, leading the team in scoring with 15.0 points per game. A top-50 prospect in the Indiana Class of 2027, Baskerville is a combo guard who is not afraid of the moment and does a great job of creating offense for himself at a high level. Expect a strong performance from him against Cathedral.

An under-the-radar prospect in Indiana’s junior class, Baskerville continues to have an excellent season for New Haven and is a big reason why they are advancing to Semi-State. The 6’2″ guard scored a game-high 20 points as the Bulldogs defeated West Lafayette 64-49.

In one of the most competitive games of the day at the Phil Cox Memorial Tournament, New Haven junior combo guard showed why he is the Bulldogs’ leading man this year. While he started off a little slow, Baskerville hit some really big shots that almost led to New Haven knocking off South Bend Riley. This combo guard is not afraid of the moment and does a great job of creating offense for himself at a high level. He had 10 points in the game I watched of his.

New Haven won the Phil Cox Memorial Holiday Tournament fifth place game by the score of 58-48 over Bishop Chatard. Baskerville, a 6’2″ junior guard, led New Haven in scoring with 18 points. His combination of physicality, athleticism, and skill makes him a very difficult matchup on the perimeter.

A consistent top performer for this very talented OPS 16u team, Baskerville was once again a standout over the weekend at UA Rise Session I in Hamilton, Ohio. The 6’0″ guard from New Haven High School is such a talented offensive weapon with a variety of skills. He can use his athleticism and strength to play through contact and get to the rim off of the dribble or light it up from beyond the arc when left open. Baskerville is a true combo guard that can produce both on and off of the ball. He was a critical piece of OPS 16u’s dominant 4-0 weekend.

Already ranked as a Top 50 prospect in the Prep Ho OPS Indiana Class of 2027 Prospect Rankings, Baskerville II had himself an excellent weekend. The New Haven High School guard averaged 21.3 points per game while shooting just shy of 50% from three-point range. His pure scoring ability was on full display for a very talented OPS – UA Rise 16u team.

One of the best pure scorers in the Fort Wayne area, especially in the Class of 2027, Baskerville proved that on Saturday morning as he poured in five three-point shots on his way to a team-leading 21 points in OPS – UA Rise 16’s 73-55 win. The talented shot-maker displayed his ability to create his own shot from beyond the arc and found success while playing both on and off of the ball. This OPS – UA Rise team is very fun to watch and the talent of Baskerville is one of the first things to stand out.

Played 4 games in 1 day on Saturday. Caught the team’s final tip of the evening. Motor was still going strong to end the day. Was a scoring machine. Had him down for 30+ points. Was effecting the game even more than just his scoring ability. Has a strong frame. Fits well in the 3 or 4 spot but can still guard smaller size. Uses strength to his advantage. Liked his toughness hard nosed demeanor. Finished through contact on drives in the lane. Helped his team to 3 and 1 on the day.
