Guot is still very raw offensively, but showed a lot of potential on the defensive end of the floor. He gets up and down the floor with ease at 6'10, and is quick enough over short distances to cover ground and make plays at the rim. Did a nice job of utilizing his long frame by contesting straight up around the rim to alter plenty of looks, and also hustled back for a big time chase-down block in transition. Still has to continue adding strength to become a factor on the offensive end, but worked hard providing a rebounding presence inside for South Dakota Elite.

Standing at 6'8 with a solid build, Cameron is tough to move off the block. But it was his effort and mobility that really impressed me. He could hedge hard out on the perimeter, and quickly recover to get back and protect the rim. Had multiple blocks against [program_tooltip program_id='2075741' first='ND' last='Phenom'] showcasing great timing and quickness to get off the floor and contest. Scoring wise he was at his best sprinting to the rim in transition, where he had the coordination to catch and finish on the move even in the presence of a defender. The type of big man who doesn't need to get touches in the half-court to contribute.

Anthony had some nice moments for Power Circle over the weekend. I saw him on Saturday against [program_tooltip program_id='2078859' first='Starks' last='Elite'], where he impressed with his ability to move his feet and defend smaller players. [program_tooltip program_id='2078859' first='Starks' last='Elite'] doesn't have a ton of size, so Anthony was often guarding guys 4-5" smaller than him, and was still able to move laterally to cut them off on the ball. Utilized his length as a rim protector to come up with a couple of blocks, and worked hard running the floor. Above the rim finisher in transition with his long frame and explosiveness.

[player_tooltip player_id='2828718' first='Sage' last='Hanson'] is a versatile player at 6'9. He started the game off cutting backdoor for an alley-oop dunk, showcasing his mobility at his size. Sage can get off the floor quickly to finish above the rim, and also has the skill to handle the ball out on the perimeter. Showed comfort knocking down the outside jumper as well when given too much space. Impressive versatility at 6'9.

AJ brings an intriguing blend of power and finesse to the floor for [program_tooltip program_id='2455790' first='Howard' last='Pulley']. On the glass he's a physical presence who plays a bit bigger than his size because he can move guys around and clear out space for rebounds. Able to hold his ground on the block as well to prevent deep post touches. Offensively he was at his best stretching the floor, as he knocked down a handful of threes against Martin Brothers. Such a smooth stroke making him a threat as a pick & pop shooter.

Stephen looks much more aggressive offensively than I remember from a year ago. He still has to continue adding strength to get better on the block, but he's not afraid to play with some physicality. Has a very long frame that helped him pull in rebounds on both ends of the floor, and is a big time lob threat stepping in from the dunker spot. Had a pair of alley-oops, his athleticism and coordination at 6'9. He's made some nice improvements since last spring/summer, and looks like a player whose best basketball still lies ahead.

Briggs had an impressive showing for [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] against Hoop City 17u on Saturday. At 6'9 he has shooting range that extends to well beyond the arc, and he showed that in the second half as he brought his team back within striking distance with a couple of bombs from deep. Forces opposing bigs to step out and defend him beyond the arc, helping clear out space in the paint for his teammates. Did the bulk of his scoring from three, but showed flashes of footwork in the paint to create good angles to score. Very intriguing prospect long-term with his level of skill at 6'9.
