A fearless backcourt player with superb ball handling and passing skills, Allen is a point guard who can score, distribute and apply strong on-ball defense with his quickness. Allen loves a challenge and has played against some very strong competition this spring as a key player for the [program_tooltip program_id='2075258' first='ABC' last='Young Lions'] program. Allen has more than held his own for his team this spring with his competitive fire and overall ability. He has to overcome a lack of size when he gets into the paint, but he's crafty and tough enough to make good things happen when he's hemmed in by size. Older brother, Isaiah Allen, is a member of the men's basketball program at NCAA Division II Northern Michigan.

After a rough first game of the club season against a stellar team from D1 Minnesota 3SSB at the Prep Hoops Midwest Showdown in Appleton, Cowley has turned things around and been outstanding for the [program_tooltip program_id='2828974' first='Manitowoc' last='United'] Black squad. His ability to score off the bounce with his slashing to the rim, coupled with his smooth perimeter jumper, make him a tough matchup for opponents. He has good size and strength for a combination guard, and he loves to get the ball and probe the defense, looking for scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates. Cowley's strong play has helped a solid [program_tooltip program_id='2828974' first='Manitowoc' last='United'] Black team to an 11-4 record in four events this spring.

One of the more complete point guards in the 2026 class, Dirke's feel for the game is nothing short of outstanding. He understands the game and what needs to get done on a high level, often anticipating plays ahead of time. He moves the ball with purpose and is exceedingly unselfish on the outstanding [program_tooltip program_id='2076501' first='Chapman' last='Basketball Academy'] North Elite 17U squad. And when needed, Dirkse can score, either in transition with his speed and strength or in the half court with his three-point shot and mid-range jumper. His presence on the court is a vital piece for the CBA North Elite team, which has won nine of 12 games thus far.

Gilbertson has taken some impressive steps forward in his game for a [program_tooltip program_id='2078835' first='Wisconsin' last='Swing'] program that is playing stellar opponents week in and week out as a member of the Recruit Look circuit. A gym rat who loves the game and is always working to get better, Gilbertson has very good size, strength and athleticism. And he is beginning to score at all three levels for the [program_tooltip program_id='2078835' first='Wisconsin' last='Swing']. Gilbertson can play either guard spot and teams with Darlington's Broker Buscher in a very talented backcourt for the Swing.

Gruetzmacher is one of the higher ranked players on this list at No. 21 in the state's 2026 class. But he figures to move up when the Player Rankings are updated at the end of the summer. He has been outstanding for the [program_tooltip program_id='2076218' first='Wisconsin' last='Playground Club'] Under Armour squad, using his size and strength to clear out space in the paint and scoring off the glass. He has also shown the ability to consistently step outside and make shots facing the basket, including three-point tries. At 6-foot-9 and with very good physical strength and improved skills, Gruetzmacher figures to have plenty of collegiate coaches watching during May's live period.

When he attend De Pere, you most often have to wait your turn before taking center stage on the basketball court. The Redbirds' program is so deep and has so many talented players that good players often get lost a bit in the shuffle. Such is the case with Maniscalco, who missed a good chunk of the high school season while recovering from an injury, and then saw limited action for the talent-laden Redbirds once he returned to the lineup. But with several gifted players graduating this spring, Maniscalco and others will get their chance to shine in 2025-26. So far this spring, Maniscalco is playing like an all-league performer as he is drilling shots from all over the court while also playing strong defense and passing up good shots for even better shots. Smart, skilled and emerging wing who has been excellent for the [program_tooltip program_id='2512324' first='Wisconsin' last='Legends'] this spring.

A coach on the floor. We've heard that phrase often over the years and sometimes it applies and other times it does not. With Prusko, it definitely applies. He makes the 24:UP Under Armour Rise team better with his ball handling against full-court pressure, his smart and accurate passing and his ability to score when left open. A pass-first lead guard who competes for the strong program at Brookfield Central, Prusko isn't the top scoring threat for his club team, but makes guys like [player_tooltip player_id='1561893' first='Caden' last='Gustafson'] and Tyler Tuitczenko better because of his ability to deliver the ball to them at the right time.

Rahn, along with a few others in the 2026 class, is one of those guys Division II coaches feel will eventually get an offer from a Division I program. As a result, Division II coaches often opt to move on to other prospects. His play for [program_tooltip program_id='2076023' first='Wisconsin' last='Academy'] -- Hibner's 17U squad this spring has only solidified those thoughts. At 6-foot-8 and with impressive physical strength and the versatility to play inside and outside, Rahn is an imposing player for opponents to deal with. Even if he isn't scoring at a high clip, he positively affects the game with his screens, rebounding, defense and ability to take opposing forwards away from the basket. But make no mistake, Rahn also is a more than capable scorer. He and teammate, [player_tooltip player_id='1561944' first='Jacob' last='Hibner'], make the [program_tooltip program_id='2076023' first='Wisconsin' last='Academy'] squad one of the state's better squads at 17U.

A varsity performer at Assumption in each of the past three seasons, Schlaefer is another lover of the game who always seems to be in the gym working on his game. He has become a very good long-distance shooter, which has helped to make his off-the-bounce game even more lethal. Schlaefer does a good job of finishing over taller defenders with his athleticism and with his step back shots in transition. He also is a solid passer in the open court and can run a team in the halfcourt. Schlaefer is the leader for the Just A Game Fieldhouse Select squad and is vocal on the floor and in the huddle, always encouraging his teammates. Schalefer can play either guard spot, but he seems to be moving toward being a true point guard.

Size, length and athleticism are always desirable traits in a basketball player. Taylor might not have the first two on that list in great abundance, but he definitely checks the box in the third category. Even at 5-foot-9, Taylor is an extremely effective basketball player as he uses his nearly unmatched quickness and his impressive athleticism to create separation from defenders. He can pop in a triple if defenders sag off of him, and he's deadly off the bounce, particularly in transition. Taylor can cover the length of the court with the ball in his hands about as quickly as any other player in the state. A good passer and stellar ball handler, Taylor has had a strong spring showing for the [program_tooltip program_id='2839421' first='Milwaukee' last='Young Bucks'].
