It’s easy to see how Xavier put up such impressive scoring numbers as a senior. The unsigned 2026 guard is so quick with the ball in his hands, and seemed to be able to get to the rim just about any time he wanted to. Good body control allows him to play off two feet and find ways to finish over the top of taller defenders inside. I really liked how after every bucket Xavier was looking to get up and press the length of the floor. Quick and energetic 2026 guard.

The skill level Allen brings to the table is nothing short of outstanding. He can handle the ball, shoot the ball and pass the ball with the best of them. He’s a bit on the small side, but his enormous skill set and strong feel for the game overcomes most height disadvantages he encounters. Allen is averaging 26.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 3.2 steals while leading Milwaukee Lutheran to a 6-3 record.

The ABC Young Lions — Dillon squad was the class of the 17U field at the Wisconsin State Tournament, and Allen’s strong play was a big reason why his club went 4-0. Teaming with talented 2025 guard Harold Frye III in the ABC Lions’ backcourt, Allen turned outstanding passes from Frye into baskets at a high level. He displayed a silky smooth perimeter jump shot that yielded three-point basket after three-point basket while also using ball fakes to get to the hoop. Allen’s mid-range game off of penetration was tough defend due to his speed and quick elevation. One of the top players in the Woodland Conference, Allen figures to be the team leader for coach Marcus Jackson’s squad at Milwaukee Lutheran in 2025-26.

A fearless backcourt player with superb ball handling and passing skills, Allen is a point guard who can score, distribute and apply strong on-ball defense with his quickness. Allen loves a challenge and has played against some very strong competition this spring as a key player for the ABC Young Lions program. Allen has more than held his own for his team this spring with his competitive fire and overall ability. He has to overcome a lack of size when he gets into the paint, but he’s crafty and tough enough to make good things happen when he’s hemmed in by size. Older brother, Isaiah Allen, is a member of the men’s basketball program at NCAA Division II Northern Michigan.

A smooth lead guard who can shadow opponents on defense with his lateral quickness, Allen makes up for his lack of size with his speed, quickness and skill. Very capable of breaking down opposing backcourt players with his stop-and-go dribble, his shiftiness and his quickness, Allen got to the basket often against a solid Minnesota Powerhouse squad and finished in double figures in a loss. He also can stop on a dime and rise up for mid-range jump shots. Coming off a very good junior season, Allen averaged 19.5 points and picked up second-team all-league recognition in the Eastern Division of the Woodland Conference.

For whatever reason, Allen did not start for coach Marcus Jackson on Saturday. But he clearly was the Red Knights’ best player, scoring a team-best 19 points while handling and passing the ball against the intense defensive pressure of Whitefish Bay. The younger brother of former Milwaukee Lutheran star, Isaiah Allen,
