EYBL Scholastic Tournament: Day 1 Standouts

impacts the game in so many ways on both sides.&nbsp; He athleticism off the bounce for acrobatic layups and getting to the foul line was shown in this game as was his defensive prowess recording career.&nbsp; The combo forward is a strong and physical shot maker that poured them in from distance in this game banging in five from beyond the arc.&nbsp; Most of them were off the catch along with pick/pop.&nbsp; Also hit a step back.&nbsp; Tough on the glass and is a versatile weapon.&nbsp; He had 16 points.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- board.&nbsp; Strong and physical forward that can really shoot the ball from deep.&nbsp; He was excellent with his shot making letting it fly with a ton of confidence.&nbsp; He hit six triples before fouling out early in the fourth quarter which completely changed the game.&nbsp; Tough bucket getter that can also play above the rim catching a lob for 20 points.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- a slithery scorer.&nbsp; The rangy wing can play above the rim, get to the charity stripe, along with hitting a pair of threes in this game.&nbsp; Was active on the defensive end as well going for 11 table.  Flies in on the offensive glass for put backs, high points contested rebounds, and is a disruptive defender.  Caught a lob pass for a dunk, can put it on the deck for spin moves, and is a capable spot up shooter when asked to do that.  Quality wing defender that is disruptive on that end.  Going to be a big time utility player at the next level!  He had 18 points in a win over AZ point guard position.  He has a good feel for the game finding his teammates.  As a scorer he is at his best when getting downhill on straight line takes where he uses his handles to get past them and strength to finish in among the trees down low or draw contact for trips to the foul line.  Active defender that should be impactful on that end at the next level.  Finished with 9 points and a year.  He stands out with his size, length, and mobility.  Moves well defensively in space and rebounds at a high level in traffic.  Really like how he snatches rebounds.  Explosive finisher out of the dunker spot and as a rim runner.  Solid passing instincts for a big man.  The upside is definitely there.  It just needs to continue to be refined.  Went for 12 points.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> size and athleticism to go with a big time skill set that has elite high-majors all over him.  He is comfortable in this gym as he was huge in Brad Beal Elite's run to a 16U Peach Jam crown on the same floor last summer.  Good looking shooter that has a free and easy stroke.  The quickness and athleticism getting on the offensive boards for tip slams was impressive including one early in the ball well in traffic.  Liked how he was active defensively and willing to get on the ground for loose balls including one which led to a dunk for him.  Needs to continue to work on finishing more for jumpers shaking defenders into shots or using turnarounds shots in the lane.  Also can attack the cup with athleticism converting through and drawing contact.  He had 12 points.</p> <!--
