This was my first chance to see the hyped big man that is headed to Houston next year. He stands out with his size, length, and mobility. Moves well defensively in space and rebounds at a high level in traffic. Really like how he snatches rebounds. Explosive finisher out of the dunker spot and as a rim runner. Solid passing instincts for a big man. The upside is definitely there. It just needs to continue to be refined. Went for 12 points.

Chris was the best all-around big man at the event and is a strong candidate for the top big man in his class nationally. With a very good handle for his size and impressive footwork, Cenac efficiently scores at all three levels and excels as both a roll man and pick-and-pop option.

Cenac demonstrated his offensive prowess by effectively shooting from the perimeter and driving to the rim with ease. His versatility on offense kept defenders on their heels, as he showcased his ability to score from both inside and outside. Cenac’s performance was punctuated by multiple rim-rocking dunks, electrifying the crowd and solidifying his presence on the court.

-One of the best play-finishers in the camp, impressed with his activity in the lane as an offensive rebounder and scorer around the rim. Got his defender in the air with some up-fakes and step-throughs to earn himself an easy bucket around the rim. Athleticism and mobility have improved, soft touch in the paint translated well to the midrange.

6’10 Cristopher Cenac was another dominate big on day 1 in Dallas. Despite falling short to one of Texas’s best programs he really stood out and made it clear he is a big in his own class. Sharp footwork around the basket with a soft touch, once he got a touch he just didn’t miss many shots in the paint. At 6’10 he showed alot of mobility moving up and down the floor in transition and specializes in putbacks off of missed shots. He also has a high IQ floating into open space off screens making it easy for his guards to get him the ball over the top. Defensively he made some big plays using his wingspan to protect the basket and contest short jump shots. Cristopher is a fresh face for me from LA that is a no brainer when it comes to your radar for the season.
