First half of the game was very close, with Mix and Kazmierkoski pacing Rogers with 10 points each in the half. With 2:15 left it was still a five point game at 35-30 the Spuds closed the first half with a 7 to 3 run for a 9 point halftime lead.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Mack, Battle, and Zarazua combined for 30 of the 43 first half points and they started strong in the 2nd half to eventually get the Spuds out to a 16 point advantage before Rogers battled back briefly behind Kazmierkoski who scored 6 straight points and it was 59-50 with 9:15 left.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Spuds pushed the lead to 67-51 and then finished the game on a 15-7 run behind Mach who scored 7 of his 23 points.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2451500' first='David' last='Mack'], the 2027 six-foot-two-inch guard looked so advanced on the floor. He scored a game high 23 points and that wasn't what impressed me the most. Mack was patient when passing, working the defense with ball handling and ball fakes, and had good anticipation on defense to intercept passes.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><a href="https://twitter.com/streethistory/status/1894828314256109766">https://twitter.com/streethistory/status/1894828314256109766</a></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2423573' first='Reign' last='Battle'] the MSUM committed football player had 18 points, 2025 senior Brian Zarazua had 12 points, 2027 sophomore Jett Feeney had 11 points, and 2028 freshman [player_tooltip player_id='2417305' first='Romeo' last='Kromah'] had 10 points.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Kromah is an impressive freshman guard that I watched last summer with ECI. Versus players his own age he looked like a step ahead athletically and playing solid minutes on Moorhead, he held his own well offensively and defensively. HIs 10 points came on creation, attacking downhill and being available to his teammates on cuts.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Rogers 2025 seniors [player_tooltip player_id='2422928' first='Trey' last='Mix'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1574224' first='Colton' last='Kazmierkoski'] both scored 18 points for the Royals.</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1574224' first='Colton' last='Kazmierkoski'] is a six-foot-four-inch 2025 wing for Rogers that did well attacking in transition scoring most of his points getting out in front and finishing and going at defenders early in offensive possessions.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><a href="https://twitter.com/streethistory/status/1894865005482520996">https://twitter.com/streethistory/status/1894865005482520996</a></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2422928' first='Trey' last='Mix'] is a six-foot-two-inch 2025 guard for Rogers that in this game shot the ball from the perimeter pretty well hitting four 3-pointers for the Royals. Mix handled the ball and was responsible for much of Rogers' creation for others. Defensively he stayed aggressive and did well stepping in front of passes for steals.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><a
