During William Penn's win on Friday night over Eastern York, Barnes got downhill often and relentlessly attacked the paint for floaters and lay-ins. Several of his dribble drives into the lane produced whistles. On those occasions Barnes calmly went to the line a knocked down his freebies. Barnes also tossed in a three-ball for good measure. When the final horn sounded, Barnes had posted 25 points. It was the sixth time this season Barnes has scored 20 or more points in a game. Barnes in one of the top 2027 prospects in the area and he should have a monster post season.

On SundayKennedy (Merrimack commit) stuffed the stat book for 23 points and 12 assists as he helped Father Judge hand St. Joe's Prep their first PCL loss of the season. In the 72-64 win, Kennedy drained jumpers from all over the court and scored off the bounce. Kennedy (17 ppg.) also pushed the ball on the fast break for scores and assists. His live dribble passing was extremely impressive. Kennedy also crashed the boards for several key rebounds.

On Friday night Matos had his shooting stroke working against Devon Prep. He popped 3 triples and shot 11 of 13 from the free throw line on his way to a career high 32 points. Matos also got out in transition for a few buckets that he converted through contact. This quick guard with active hands also was a plus defender who generated several steals. Matos (16 ppg.) holds an offer from Sacred Heart

Over the weekend Mulroy (1st Team All-SOL in 2023-24) posted 15 points (2 threes) and 7 rebounds in a win over Cheltenham as well as 14 points in win over Plymouth Whitemarsh. Thanks to Mulroy's outstanding play, Upper Dublin now heads to the Suburban One championship tilt on a 23-game winning streak. In those victories Mulroy continued to prove he is one of the top off the dribble scoring machines in the area. His crafty moves and ability to sink difficult shots off the bounce were on full display all weekend. Mulroy's athleticism and quick bursts frequently caught defenders by surprise as he finished on the fast break repeatedly. How this three-level scorer remains available is a mystery.

The front runner for the Bicentennial Athletic League POY award recently dropped a near triple double of 33 points (5 threes), 10 dimes and 8 boards. So, it should not be a surprise that this past weekend Orange capped off a tremendous regular season with another near triple double. This time Orange torched Dock Mennonite for 26 points (4 threes), 8 rebounds and 6 dimes. The victory wrapped up a 15-0 record in BAL action for Delco Christian. When Orange was not splashing triples, he was creating opportunities off the dribble for himself and teammates. Orange holds a handful of D3 offers, but more college coaches should be contacting this versatile guard prospect.
