It is hard to put into words the monster senior season Orange assembled. Orange posted 24 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals per night while leading DCCS to the Bicentennial Athletic League and District 1-1A titles. He was named the BAL Player of the Year as well as an All-Area selection. Orange is a walking bucket who rung up multiple 30-pieces this winter. Included those scoring explosions was a 33-point night in the District 1-1A championship game as well as a 31-point effort in the 1A state tournament. Orange’s speed, tight handles and versatile finishing skills enable him to generate points on the fast break. In the half-court Orange can pop jumpers from all over the floor. He is especially effective on pull-up threes. Orange can also use the dribble to get to his mid-range spots or all the way to the rack. Orange holds a slew of D2 / D3 offers, but more colleges coaches should be texting him.

It was fairly obvious early in the 2024-25 season that Orange was the front runner for the BAL Player of the Year award. But with his incredible stretch of play to close the season, Orange left no doubt. In February, this muti-skilled guard posted a near triple double of 33 points, 10 dimes and 8 boards. Then in the District 1-1A championship game Orange poured in 33 points as DCCS defeated Dock Mennonite. During his senior campaign Orange posted 17 points; 8 rebound, 4 assists and 3 steals per night while leading DCCS to the BAL and D1-1A titles. Orange’s versatile skill set was on full display all winter as he scored at all three levels and executed kick outs to open shooters as well as drop passes to the dunker spot. As a nice bonus, Orange rebounded at both ends and was a plus defender. Orange’s holds a slew of D2 / D3 offers.

Earlier this month Orange recorded a near triple double of 33 points, 10 dimes and 8 boards. So, it should not come as a surprise that Orange posted a monster stat line in the District 1-1A title game. During hat contest Orange hung 33 points on Dock Mennonite as he helped DCCS bring home the D1-1A hardware. Orange’s versatile skill set was on full display as he scored at all three levels, executed kick outs to open shooters and rebounded. College coaches will love Orange’s ability to force a turnover, then get down the court quickly for a lay-in or assist on the fast break.

The front runner for the Bicentennial Athletic League POY award recently dropped a near triple double of 33 points (5 threes), 10 dimes and 8 boards. So, it should not be a surprise that this past weekend Orange capped off a tremendous regular season with another near triple double. This time Orange torched Dock Mennonite for 26 points (4 threes), 8 rebounds and 6 dimes. The victory wrapped up a 15-0 record in BAL action for Delco Christian. When Orange was not splashing triples, he was creating opportunities off the dribble for himself and teammates. Orange holds a handful of D3 offers, but more college coaches should be contacting this versatile guard prospect.

On Friday night Orange posted another 30-piece as DCC defeated Pope Jon Paul. To be exact, Orange posted a near triple double as he scored 33 points, handed out 10 dimes and grabbed 8 rebounds. Orange splashed threes from all around the arc, hit mid-range jumpers and scored on the fast break. Still the most impressive part of Orange’s day was his ability to get into the paint and then convert on floaters and lay-ins or execute kick outs to open shooters. Plus, Orange frequently knifed through passing lanes for steals. This crafty scoring guard holds several D3 offers, but more coaches should be contacting Orange.

Orange has received offers from a handful of D3 schools, but after his 35-point performance in DCC’s win over Chester Charter SA, we expect more offers will be headed his way. During that impressive effort, Orange drained 3 triples and got into his dribble drive bag. Two of the threes Orange knocked down were from logo distance. Orange also piloted the fast break for scores and assists. Plus, he did a solid job of rebounding too.

177 to 153…This three-level scoring point guard has tipped off his senior season in ridiculous fashion. Included in Orange’s fantastic start to the 2024-25 season are games of 27 points (2 threes), 10 rebounds and 5 assist as well as 25 points (3 threes), 9 boards and 5 dimes. Orange can score in bunches in transition and in the half-court. His speed, quick bursts and change of direction dribble moves enable Orange to get to the cup in both of those scenarios. Plus, Orange sprinkles in enough made threes to keep defenders from sagging off him. Orange can also work as floor general who distributes to teammates. Recently Orange received an offer from Hood College (D3).

Orange is the heavy favorite win the 2024-25 BAL POY award. Last season he averaged 17 points and 7.7 rebounds to go along with 4 assists per game. He was named as a 1st Team All-BAL selection for the second straight year. Over the last two months of fall ball action Orange has played outstanding basketball. Just last weekend he was named as a top performer at the DELCO Fall Shootout. Orange can score from both guard spots via his high percentage 3-point shooting or attacking the rim of the dribble. When Orange gets into the lane off the dribble, he can score, drop a dime to the dunker spot or kick out to an open shooter. His speed, filthy handles, and ability to finish through contact enable Orange to thrive in the open court. In recent weeks Orange has received a handful of D3 offers.
