The district tournament is coming up and regionals are right around the corner. In two weeks time, half of the teams in Kentucky will no longer be playing basketball. With that said, Postseason KHSAA Basketball is a special time of year. Here's a look at some players who can be a true X factor in their Junior postseasons.

Madison Central has had a strong season thus far but the difference between them being a true threat in the 11th region is likely the production of Asher. The Indians have been hard to beat when both Luke and fellow Junior [player_tooltip player_id='2726831' first='Jake' last='Feldhaus'] have been consistent. Asher is a big wing who provides 16 points and 5 rebounds per game for Central but when I've watched them, they are much better (and a more complete team) when [player_tooltip player_id='1543614' first='Luke' last='Asher'] is having a big game.

Harlan County is a balanced team with multiple good players but they are much better when Reggie is playing well. Cottrell is a good athlete who is capable of sitting down and guarding at a high level. Reggie is also a bouncy player who finishes well around the rim. The Black Bears don't need him to score a ton but they do play much better when Cottrell is impacting winning with rebounding and defense.

Robinson has established himself as one of the top shooters in Kentucky, period. Shooting 49% from three and 51% overall, Tate opens up the rest of the floor for drivers like Juante Jenkins and [player_tooltip player_id='1543594' first='DeMarcus' last='Surratt'] just by being on the floor. Douglass has aspirations of getting to Rupp Arena and they can do that if Robinson is making shots. He has struggled in their losses, shooting only 25% from three in their three losing efforts this season.

The definition of a glue guy, Clark is one of the best wings in the 7th region and is capable of scoring when needed as well as defending at a high level. Jaymes is also a very reliable playmaker. He's not shot the three ball well this season (only 25%) but with [player_tooltip player_id='1359140' first='Cole' last='Edelen'] back, Clark can get back to being more of a driver off the wing and not have to settle for contested threes.
