Frederick Douglass has a very talented roster once again with athleticism across the roster. Robinson provides a bit of a different dynamic as a guy who will impact the game on ways that don’t appear on the stat sheet. Robinson ran the floor, cut within the offense, played well off star Demarcus Surratt and overall showed an advanced understanding of how to impact the game without the ball in his hands. College coaches are always looking for players like that and Robinson could be a favorite among regional programs.

Tate is a big time shooter who is continuing to develop the rest of his game. There may not be a player in Kentucky who is better at working to get open via cutting and movement without the ball. Robinson is also a solid defender who has averaged over a block per game this spring on the defensive end.

Robinson transferred in to Lexington this past summer with very little fanfare but Tate has shown himself to be a very good player for the Broncos. Established as one of the elite shooters in the state, Robinson shot 49% from three for the season and has shown some ability as a two way wing who can defend and knows how to be a playmaker with the ball in his hands and not just a shooter.

Robinson is new to Kentucky but quickly making his name known as a lights out shooter. Tate is knocking down 48% of his threes thus far and is primarily serving as a three point specialist so far this season. As he gets more comfortable attacking the rim, Robinson’s numbers are likely to continue trending up in both shot attempts and threes made per game.
