Sekue has made some jaw dropping defensive plays, bringing a legitimate vertical pop to swat away shot attempts and switch onto bigger forwards. Few names in this 2027 class possess his defensive tools, both as a laterally quick defender and wing with vertical pop to his degree. He has fit the mold of a switchable defensive weapon, willing to do the little things to impact winning within Rangeview's successful start to the season. Hawthorne's willingness to battle on the glass has been imperative for Northfield, maintaining their defensive toughness of late. Contributing to this group's 9-4 record, he has been a steady play finisher around the rim, comfortable against contests. Additionally one of their higher volume free throw shooters, the forward has found a serviceable role around the paint. As he has continued to develop his handle attacking closeouts, Hawthorne's improved decision making speed has allowed him to be a more formidable offensive presence as needed.     Although not posting lofty numbers, he has made some jaw dropping plays over the past few weeks. The lanky guard continues to gain confidence in his finishing abilities around the rim, throwing down a notable poster this past week. His lanky frame allows him to be a notorious slasher, always a threat while operating without the ball. Redwine's defensive abilities have taken strides with the added strength, switching onto multiple positions as needed.
