is an electric shooting guard who has propelled George Washington to a 9-3 start. Redwine excels in slashing to the rim and detonating above it. Chalking up 12.3 PPG on 59% shooting from the field, Redwine has gotten into a groove in his final high school campaign. Utilizing his wingspan and length at 6’3, Redwine closes out on shooters and rotates quickly on screens. Now ranked as the #16 SG in his class, Redwine has put together the ingredients for success.

Redwine has his moments, and in those flashes, you can see how high a ceiling he has. He’s uber-athletic, he gets out in transition for highlight plays, and he also challenges guys at the rim. But he’s also a floor spacer that lets it fly from deep. To begin the year, it’s been a mix for him of an inside-out attack as he’s shot the 3-ball well and gotten out in transition. Redwine excels in open space. He attacks and gets out on the leak for plays. The game is coming easy to him as a guy who moves without the ball, and he’s putting up 13 points and 4 rebounds a game between two contests and is ready to be contested. He’s a prospect that allows the Patriots to explore offensively, as he can get himself going or within the flow of the offense.

finds innovative ways to cook his matchup and score at will. Downhill, good luck stopping Redwine, as he’s constantly in hot pursuit of finishing at and above the rim. Redwine accelerates the tempo on offense and switches speeds when he dribbles, leaving defenses questioning his every move. Redwine should finish this season as a top-10 SG in his class.

Redwine is one of the more athletic guards in the state, and he showcased that at Colorado Live. Defensively, he used his length and quickness to disrupt opponents, showing growth on that end of the floor. Offensively, he continued to shine as he was knocking down threes, finishing in transition, hitting floaters, and making the extra pass. His consistent scoring will be key for George’s success moving forward, as I think he has a standout year for the Patriots.

Although not posting lofty numbers, he has made some jaw dropping plays over the past few weeks. The lanky guard continues to gain confidence in his finishing abilities around the rim, throwing down a notable poster this past week. His lanky frame allows him to be a notorious slasher, always a threat while operating without the ball. Redwine’s defensive abilities have taken strides with the added strength, switching onto multiple positions as needed.

The lanky guard brings great defensive instincts, willing to fly around for rotations to swat away shot attempts. His wide reach paired with the quick north to south acceleration makes him a unique matchup, particularly as a help side defender or transition defender. Those defensive traits in particular will be essential towards expanding his opportunities at George Washington, although he has continued to make strides as a slasher and complementary shotmaker.
