<p>Our mid-season all-state teams continue to be revealed one by one, today we look at <em>Rhode Island</em> and the <em>RIIL</em>.</p>

<p><strong>Point Guard:</strong> <strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id='2546943' first='James' last='Caldarella']</em></strong></p>

<p>A big lead guard at <em>Bishop Hendricken</em>, Caldarella has done a great job of running the show in leading his team to a 10-4 record. Caldarella is a high IQ guard that does a little bit of everything on a court; he's a high level shooter from behind the arc, does a nice job of creating scoring opportunities for his teammates, and makes instinctive plays on the defensive end that lead to turnovers and easy offense.</p>

<p><strong>Shooting Guard:</strong> <strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id='2571909' first='John' last='Ramos']</em></strong></p>

<p>A dynamic scorer from <em>Central</em>, Ramos has proven capable of shining in the biggest moments in his team's 10-2 start to the season. Ramos exploded onto the scene with 23 points in his first varsity game and has only continued to get better since; he is a dynamic open floor scorer, has the ability to makes plays off the bounce for himself and others, and is a tough on-ball defender with quick hands.</p>

<p><strong>Small Forward:</strong> <strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id='2470875' first='Otis' last='Crosby']</em></strong></p>

<p>A versatile two-way wing at <em>Moses Brown</em>, Crosby has done a bit of everything in his squads 14-1 start. A multi-positional defender, he guards up and down a lineup while racking up rebounds and steals. He's a talented shooter that can makes shots off movement, is a hard cover due to his activity level, and has proven to be capable of putting the ball on the floor and getting to the rim as a scorer.</p>

<p><strong>Power Forward:</strong> <strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id='2553850' first='Connor' last='Reilly']</em></strong></p>

<p>One of the state's top perimeter shooters out of <em>North Smithfield</em>, Reilly has been a central force in keeping his team competitive at 7-8. The top floor spacing forward in the state, he has had multiple big time performances from behind the arc already this season; he has great length, does a nice job of scoring with or without the basketball in his hands, and has improved as a defender that can also protect the rim.</p>

<p><strong>Center:</strong> <strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id='2396775' first='Liam' last='Simpson']</em></strong></p>

<p>A two-way big man from <em>La Salle Academy</em>, Simpson has proven to be the state's top big as his team has started the year 15-2. A prototypical modern day big, Simpson leaves his fingerprints all over a game with his versatility and activity level. He sees the floor well as a playmaker, has a nose for the ball on the offensive glass, can score at multiple levels, and does a nice job of defending both in and outside of the paint.</p>

<p><strong>Sixth Man:</strong> <strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id='1578538' first='Jeremiah' last='Lenus']</em></strong></p>

<p>A microwave scorer out of <em>North Providence</em>, Lenus has point a lot of points on the board as his team sits at 15-1. A lanky guard with a smooth stroke and solid handles, Lenus is a terrific scorer who gets it done in the open floor and in the half-court. He uses his bounce to create space, makes tough jumpers in isolation situations, and does a nice job of creating steals and deflections with his length and athleticism.</p>
