He didn't score as a shooter from the perimeter and was mostly operating on the block. Served as a big-time rim-protector. 15 point 10 rebound double-double for Goodbary in the matchup.

Brant is the real deal and is playing at a high level as of late. He recently had a 25-point game, and in this one he scored 14 with three rebounds and three assists. I have him for two threes in the game, both off of the catch and fell in for swishes. I watched him defensively, and boy is he good and solid on that end as well. He can stay in front of the ball and uses his long frame and functional athleticism to keep the ball-handler from entering the paint.

What's been really impressive with Cooper is his quick and explosive direct drive at the hoop. And he always seems to get to the rim before the defense does. Cooper is a multi-dimensional prospect that is looking a little longer this season at 6'5”. Averaging 12 points per game on the season, Goodbary scored 14 points in the 1st half and finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds.

Gerdes was tough to contain when he got going downhill attacking the rim. He gathers himself when he gets at the rim and I think it helps him be such an efficient and consistent finisher at the rim. He scored 15 points (6/10 FG), with most of them being smooth off the glass finishes right at the hoop. Also had three rebounds and three assists.

Easton produced a double-double with 18 points (6/15 FG) (2/7 3PT) and 11 assists. He was playing his normal play-style that we're familiar with, and he was getting deep in the paint for a lot of long jump passes to three-point shooters out on the perimeter.

Stormo is showing a ton of offensive firepower in his Senior season. He's especially aggressive from three range, making four for 18 points (7/13 FG) (4/8 3PT) and six rebounds. He's showing some off the dribble pull-up game and is an active cutter looking for buckets at the hoop. Stormo is an active rebounder that will attack the ball and has rebounding range.

Jackson was looking for his catch-and-shoot three all game long for 18 points (6/10 3PT) and six made threes. It's definitely one of the best games I've seen him play; especially as a passer and distributor on the move. He used a continuation of his handle to probe and get to anywhere he wanted to on the court. His ball-handling looked excellent, especially through defensive traffic. Nine points in the game.

Katzer was handling the ball more than I expected. I saw Lennox prior to this game and knew he was handling it more, but he was definitely one of the main ball-handlers, even over [player_tooltip player_id='2078157' first='Aiden' last='Hanssen']. Katzer is a big guard that uses a football mindset on the basketball court as well. He used his speed and power to get by the defense going to his right hand. He nearly went to his right every time but they still couldn't keep him out of the paint. Pine Ridge didn't have a big body to matchup with him, so he actually posted up smaller players at times, as well. Katzer had a big second half scoring all 11 of his points in the half. Ended with a double-double with 10 rebounds and three assists.

Nickles is coming off the bench for #1 Sioux Falls Christian. I think he's their best ball-handler and a highly-skilled prospect. He can make all the passes and is one of the top three-point shooters in the state. On this team — with so much talent — he doesn't assert himself as much or play as freely compared to him in the Summer and at showcases. He didn't get many scoring opportunities in the game, but he didn't play bad either.

A starting ball-handler, Snyder started out hot with eight points in the 1st quarter with two threes. He wouldn't score the rest of the game. He was active defensively with four steals. Cole is a Dordt University football commit.

Smith had a really nice game and was highly efficient. He scored 14 points (6/8 FG) and didn't really need to possess the ball much to get his points. He had a couple catch-and-shoot threes that I remember. The ball doesn't stick with Layton and he'll make a quick decision with the ball and keep the ball moving. Layton scored the game-winning tip-back off the offensive glass in the closing seconds.

[player_tooltip player_id='2054983' first='Drake' last='Mikkelsen'] was out due to injury and Musser started the game for Lennox. As usual, Musser's athleticism really popped. He runs and sprints the court at a high level.

Boden scored nine points and I have him for at least two three makes. He's really looking good as a future impact player that just needs to expand his offensive game from more than a three-point shooter. He does run the floor well. A good rebounder that finds the ball in the air.

Spieler comes off the bench, but it's a significant note that he was in the game in the final minutes of the game. So he clearly has the trust of the coaches both offensively and defensively if he's in there when it matters most. Solid size for a guard, and he's going to play his role and do his job. Five points for him.
