Grind has a talented and athletic roster coached by Jon Richter, not the biggest group but what they dont have in size they more then make up for in talent/skill/athleticism and shooting. Guard play will definitely be one of this teams strengths with players like [player_tooltip player_id='2253958' first='Drew' last='Hofmann'], [player_tooltip player_id='2413967' first='Brody' last='Richter'] and [player_tooltip player_id='3269988' first='Ethan' last='Hanson'] all who had very strong sophmore seasons. Im definitely guessing this team will be able to pressure full court and also in the halfcourt with this roster, playing a fast uptempo style seems like it would fit this team perfectly.

Brody averaged 15.8ppg, shot 33% from three, 5.8rpg and 2.1apg. Was a key part to the Lion's success this season and finished with All District Honors. Brody wont just take threes hes excellent at attacking the basket and finishing through contact. Athleticism stands out with Brody for sure but his toughness/shooting range and willingness to make eveyone else better are just a few of the intangibles he also brings to this team.

Ethan was a key part of Central McLean's Championship Season as the Cougars went 28-0! Ethan averaged 11.9ppg, 5.1rpg, 2.8spg, 40.6% from three. He playes with a different level of NRG then most and continued to get not only more comfortable on the floor throughout the season but also showed a great deal of confidence. Ethan could have easily averaged 15ppg on another team but with Mclean being so loaded this season he didnt have to. With the losses to graduation Ethan will definitely be asked to do even more next season and im confident he will answer the 🔔!

Briggs is a long athletic player who is next to impossible to out work and also keep off the offensive glass. With a large junior class briggs came off the bench and always made the most of his minutes (i dont see how he doesn't get more minutes or possibly even start next season). Briggs averaged 3.4ppg, 3.4rpg on limited playing time but was always active and energetic with his time. Productive summer ahead is in store I believe.

Solid season for jaden as he averaged 9.46ppg, 3.88rpg and just shy of 40 steals for Ekm. Jaden had a couple big games this year and I see that number going up not only this summer but also next regular season also. Solid ballhandler and was asked to do alot of more it this season. Smart player n better finisher at the basket then one would think for his size.

Carson was a very solid role player this year for the lions coming off the bench giving solid minutes. Carson averaged 5.8ppg, 4.1rpg and 2 apg.
Justin has good length and size. He is an extremely good rebounder and difficult to box out, always keeps moving. Long active aggressive defender seems to like that side of the ball alot. Stock is on the rise for his class next season. Solid post footwork, when he catches the ball on the block hes tough to stop.

Quincy had a nice all-round season showing not only could he score shooting the ball but also taking it to the basket and when teams played zone he also showed nice basketball IQ to find the open areas for his looks. Scrappy defender/showed quick hands and good anticipation off the ball. He will be a big factor come next season for kidder county.

Drew averaged 12.5ppg, 8.5rpg, 4.3apg, 1.9spg, 1.2bpg, shooting 43% from three. At a long 6'3 (closer to 6'4 I believe) drew showed a great ability to score and defend at a high level this season. Very smart player (doesn't get enough credit for that) who also showed alot more toughness this season and was asked to guard alot of the top players from the opponents teams and was always up for and ready to take on that challenge. Drew continually got more confident as the season went along and came up big in big moments of big games down the stretch for his Medina team. I really like his ballhandling skills for a longer player at his position also a very good athlete who dont be surprised if he plays more "above the rim" this summer and next regular season.
