Wadsworth has been outstanding this season, emerging as one of the most productive scorers on the floor. He’s averaging 21.5 points per game, and his offensive growth has been evident. After being known primarily as a three-point shooter in recent years, Jackson has expanded his game and now scores efficiently at all three levels. His evolution as a complete scorer has been a major factor in the team’s strong 11–2 start. He is performing like an All-State baller.

earns a spot on this list because of the expanded role he’ll take on for Hamlin this season. The Northern State commit will slide over to the point guard position, where he’ll serve as the team’s primary playmaker — orchestrating the offense, creating for teammates, and still delivering an elevated scoring punch. Wadsworth’s length, leadership, and defensive grit allow him to lock up the opponent’s top scorer while continuing to stuff the stat sheet on both ends. Simply put, Jackson has All-State talent and the mindset to lead Hamlin to big things this season.

Jackson set the school record last season in Hamlin with 77 made 3’s and he did it at a clip of 49% effectiveness. Jackson is an all around athlete and plays physical. He’s got great court vision and makes the correct read in transition. Wadsworth is also a great on ball defender with his quick hands creating deflections and getting steals.

Pure athlete that can shoot it, and finish as well as anyone in his class. Jackson will be a dominant force this season in SD as he and the Chargers will once again be a top program in the state.

Wadsworth wasn’t able to make the trip to Iowa because of a school obligation. That didn’t stop him from earning an offer from Iowa NAIA Briar Cliff University. They love their fringe D2/NAIA prospects in South Dakota and have had massive success. Some of these NAIA guys in South Dakota can hoop and have sound profiles. It’s just getting more difficult landing that DII offer. So Briar Cliff has taken advantage.

I think Wadsworth takes on a leadership role going into his final Summer as a Hoop City South Dakota veteran. He played up on this team last year, so he’s more than ready to take a leap forward and play with a stress-free and confident and loose game. I think he’ll take on a scoring and leading on both ends in crunch-time role for the Hoop City South Dakota 17U squad.
