I love watching this guy play ball. His court vision and IQ are well ahead of his age. He’s got iso handles and can go either way to the rim with speed. He matches that speed with a sweet shot from 3. Taschner will be a tough cover for any opposing team and surely fun to watch in the coming years.

Owen is extremely polished, poised, and skilled. He was playing with Hamlin’s JV as a ball-handler. He’ll be the ball-handler of the present and future for Hamlin’s varsity. A legit shooter and shot-maker from range. Hamlin Head Coach Todd Neuendorf will be guiding Taschner throughout the offseason as well, because he’s coaching Heiser Skills Academy 14U.
