2026 Rankings Update: 10 New Faces to Track

Oguche is the newest prospect from nationally-known 1 of 1 Academy to get to know as they continue to build their resume. He's a versatile presence at 6-foot-7 who's shown he can operate on both the perimeter and on the interior with purpose. He's averaging 10.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.1 steals per game on 51 percent shooting from the field through 17 games and continues to show his growth as more than just a scoring presence.     Siegel makes his debut in the 2026 rankings while having a strong outing in the Charlotte Catholic rotation. He's producing 14.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.5 steals per game while knocking down 31 3-pointers to show for their 14-4 record on the season. They're 5-1 in the Southwestern Conference with Independence High lurking in the shadows. Look for Siegel to give the Cougars some room with his continued development.     Wilson is another prospect to get to know out of Mooresville High as they continue their hot start in the Greater Metro Conference at 5-0. He's been a presence on the scoring and rebounding front with 8.2 points, 4.5 rebounds as well as 2.4 assists and 1.2 steals per game as they're 15-2 on the season. He's a sizeable wing presence who's shown he can contribute in a variety of ways with the Blue Devils.     Dickens is the latest star to emerge from the Wilson Prep Academy rotation in the 2026 rankings. He leads the way for the Tigers with 16.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.6 steals per game as they're 10-4 on the year and looking to defend their state title. He's a prospect with quite the skillset given his ability to score, rebound and make plays for others given his production. He'll be a prospect to track closely over the next few months.     Wells is an intriguing prospect to keep an eye on with Trinity Academy Raleigh. He's a long, wiry prospect at 6-foot-4 who's shown he can get hot in a hurry on the perimeter and defend with a ton of energy with his length and athleticism. He does well to create instant offense off of steals defensively to give his team momentum swings when needed. He's     Raper is an emerging name to get to know at Concord Academy as they're out to a 23-3 start and a top program in the NCISAA ranks. He's putting up 12.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.3 steals per game and has knocked down 47 3-pointers on the year. He's shooting 45 percent from deep and slowly emerging as a top shooting guard to know in the state.     Robinson is another big man prospect out of Anson High for college programs to keep an eye on. At 6-foot-9, he's shown he's more than capable of holding his own around the rim defensively. He ranks seventh currently on MaxPreps in blocks per game (3.9) along with 8.7 rebounds and 6.4 points per game. Look for him to be a force in the Bearcats frontcourt over the next few months to complement their talented backcourt leader, [player_tooltip player_id='2351706' first='Jayden' last='Little'].     Guyton is a wiry wingman to get to know out of Bessemer City High in the Southern Piedmont Conference (1A/2A). He's their leading scorer with 16.1 points per game and 4.4 rebounds, 2.9 steals and 2.4 assists per contest as they roll through SPC action. He's shown he can score in a number of ways off the bounce while shooting 54 percent this season in his junior campaign.     Buzzard is a big man to get to know in the 2026 rankings out of East Mecklenburg High as he makes his presence felt. He's slowly emerging as a top defensive paint presence with production of 13.0 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.6 blocks and 2.3 assists per contest in 2024-25. At 6-foot-9, he's a big man for college programs to get to know in a hurry given his activity in the painted area and beyond.     Dixon is a rising shooting guard prospect to get to know out of Cannon School. He's emerged as the Cougars second-leading scorer in 2024-25 as he's producing 21.8 points per game along with 2.6 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 2.1 assists per contest. He's knocked down 77 3-pointers on the year while shooting 40 percent from deep in his junior year. He knocked down a school-record 12 3-pointers behind a 40-point outing back on Dec. 17 to set a new high.     Powell is having himself a breakout junior year in the Sun Valley High rotation. He checks in as a new face in the latest rankings update for the 2026 class. He's producing 10.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game while shooting 42 percent from the field. As he shows his ability to shoot the ball on the perimeter, look for his status to grow in NC. He's a 6-foot-2 wingman to keep an eye on given his improvement on the varsity scene with the Spartans.
