Buzzard is a big man prospect for DI and DII programs in the Charlotte metro area to get eyes on over at East Mecklenburg. He checks in at 71st in the latest rankings market corrections update for the 2026 class. He produced 11.6 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.8 blocks and 2.1 assists in the Eagles frontcourt this past season. He’s a prospect who knows how to utilize his size in a number of ways and is also quite the playmaker out of the post and on the perimeter. He’ll suit up with Upward Stars 3SSB on the 3SSB stage this spring/summer and will be a big man to keep eyes on. Queens has offered him.

Buzzard finds himself in the Top 100 at 96 as he continues showcase his skillset in the painted area with East Mecklenburg. The 6-foot-9 big man is putting up 13.0 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.6 blocks and 2.3 assists per game on 57 percent shooting from the floor for the Eagles. He’s a sizeable name to keep an eye on with three double-doubles under his belt in his junior season.

He’s slowly emerging as a top defensive paint presence with production of 13.0 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.6 blocks and 2.3 assists per contest in 2024-25. At 6-foot-9, he’s a big man for college programs to get to know in a hurry given his activity in the painted area and beyond.
