<p>Prep Hoops Indiana has had eyes and ears in gyms across the state of Indiana throughout the weekend. In order to highlight the most deserving prospects possible we wanted to recap all of the action with top performers both from the younger classes and the upperclassmen. Let's begin here with 10 freshmen and sophomores who impressed us over this past weekend.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">We had the chance to watch Muncie Central recently against Lafayette Jeff where this freshman guard played very well for the Bearcats. Now, this past weekend, the talented playmaker was a big part of three wins over Muncie Burris, Richmond, and Bishop Chatard.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Part of a super talented group of sophomores at Liberty Christian, English poured in 33 points for the Lions in the Madison County Tournament championship game. However, Anderson got the best of Liberty Christian in the game 78-61.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Grissom, who has had a fantastic sophomore season for one of the top ranked teams in Class 3A, was a big part of Guerin Catholic's upset victory over Cathedral on Saturday. The Golden Eagles beat the Fighting Irish 70-67 with Grissom scoring 18 points.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Johnson is averaging double-figures, 10.4 points per game, as a freshman at Muncie Central High School. The athletic 6'2" guard scored 14 points on Tuesday night in a win over Muncie Burris to jump start a three-game winning streak for the Bearcats.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">There are few freshmen in the state of Indiana putting up bigger numbers this season than this 6'2" guard at Borden High School. He hit a game-winner in a 50-49 win over Austin on Friday. Overall, Jones scored 27, 21, and 23 points respectively on the week. He is averaging 17.6 points per game.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">One of the more athletic and physically gifted prospects in Indiana's Class of 2028 Prospect Rankings. Leggett has had a strong freshman season at Blackford High School. He scored 14 points for the Bruins to move to 8-5 on the season with a 47-44 win over Winchester.</p>

Then, the 6'1" guard had 13 points and 4 rebounds in the quarterfinals as the Hawks fell to eventual champion North Central 72-58.</p>

However, this article would be remiss to not mention Mitchell's 22-point, 20-rebound performance as Evansville Reitz moved to 11-0 on the season with a 71-63 win over Paducah Tilghman (KY). </p>

He also scored 8 points in their loss in the quarterfinals to North Central.</p>
