Bingham vs. Olympus

You have a battle between two teams that both like to play uptempo. Bingham brings the defense and they play full-court defense either in traps or man. Olympus on the other hand wants to get the ball and run. This could be a game of runs and Olympus might not be able to get out and run like they usually do.

Players to Watch:

[player_tooltip player_id='1278436' first='Luke' last='West'] is a talented player with a lot of athleticism. He is playing well early and showing that he can do it on both ends of the ball. He is not alone as parker Sneadeker is another player that has looked good early. The intangible that helps Bingham in this game is that they can go small and match and spead that Olympus throws at them.

[player_tooltip player_id='1278502' first='Gavin' last='Lowe'] will likely see a few different defenders and he is a player that is electric. Easier said than done to stay in-front of him. He will get a lot of help from [player_tooltip player_id='1278441' first='Caden' last='Jackson'] who is looking sharp. The long ball is what will be the equalizer in this game. If Olympus can make it rain they have a good chance to pull out the win.

Other Players to Watch: [player_tooltip player_id='2563970' first='Lucas' last='Neidig'], [player_tooltip player_id='2335707' first='Ayden' last='Larsen'], Ty Goldsberry, [player_tooltip player_id='1146669' first='Jack' last='Evans']

Juan Diego vs. Brighton

These two teams have a shot to make some noise in 5A and they both play a different style of ball. Juan Diego has some size that Brighton might need to get physical with in order to keep them off the glass and from getting easy buckets inside. Brighton hs a few dynamic scorers out in the perimeter. This should be a good one.

Players to Watch: [player_tooltip player_id='1272412' first='Bradley' last='Easton'] is going to be a tough guard for Juan Diego as he is a big guard that can shoot. He has range so he might make the defense extend further than usual but he will be a focal point. That will free things up for [player_tooltip player_id='1571744' first='Jaxon' last='Soto'] who could have a breakout game with how he can get downhill. then the play of [player_tooltip player_id='2285072' first='Josh' last='Mawhinney'] is something that will make JDCHS choose their poison.

[player_tooltip player_id='1964621' first='Luke' last='Meyer'] will be a player that could change the game inside. If he can work on the glass and get additional possessions he could be the difference maker. [player_tooltip player_id='2302949' first='Stockton' last='Young'] could also make a big leap in his play in this one.

Other Players to Watch: [player_tooltip player_id='1568003' first='Deng' last='Deng'], [player_tooltip player_id='2722025' first='Trey' last='Nicolodemos'], [player_tooltip player_id='1568542' first='Jake' last='Wyatt'], [player_tooltip player_id='2861645' first='Slade' last='Cowan'], [player_tooltip player_id='2779778' first='Carson' last='Janke']

American Fork vs. Orem

This one should be great. You have a very seasoned coach agains one of the best up and coming young coaches in the. Both teams are loaded with talent. The lower level games should be great to watch as well. It will be a battle of what tempo is played. The up and down pace favors Orem and the half-court play might be more of what AF would like to do. One thing is for sure is that there will be college bound players all over the floor.

Players to Watch: [player_tooltip player_id='1260479' first='Chance' last='Dastrup'] will be the player that steers the ship for Orem. He gets that ball moving and he has great vision. If he is out there loose and running around he is going to be the biggest game changer. [player_tooltip player_id='1164726' first='Jax' last='Allen'] is another player that has been on a tear. Allen can run the point, get in the post and he can shoot.

AF is playing it's second game of the year and it has a tough one ahead but look for them to be sharp with [player_tooltip player_id='2089441' first='Jax' last='Clark'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1439711' first='Bryce' last='Mella'], everyone else on the team can play off of them and that is going to be the key, what players will step up in their role.

Other Players to Watch: [player_tooltip player_id='1146666' first='Chamberlain' last='Burgess'], [player_tooltip player_id='1146661' first='Trey' last='Hiatt'], [player_tooltip player_id='1724369' first='Jax' last='Oyler'], [player_tooltip player_id='2448228' first='Cael' last='Flinders']

Alta vs. Springville

this game could be a high scoring game as both teams have the ability to play really fast. Alta has the horses to run but so does Springville. The question will be if Springville could use their big man in the middle to impact the game.

Players to Watch: [player_tooltip player_id='1278438' first='Dash' last='Reiser'] is going to be a player to watch as it will be interesting who they try to defend him with. Zak Paepke has an opportunity to impact the game with his slashing. [player_tooltip player_id='1243529' first='Andrew' last='Miller'] is really starting to live up to the hype when he moved to Utah and he is a player to really watch. [player_tooltip player_id='1278439' first='Jamyn' last='Sondrup'] is also a player that could be seeing a lot of doubles. This could be great for a shooter like [player_tooltip player_id='1278449' first='Mason' last='Hansen'].

Other Players to Watch: Hayden Anderson, Jaxon Langford, [player_tooltip player_id='1724426' first='Swift' last='Hall'], Asher Mark
