Young had flashes last season and this year he will be able to build on the success he had last season. Good size as a CG and he is a player that does a lot of the little things. Rebounds and defends. He could be a small school get, maybe D3 type of a kid at the next level. He has upside and this year could really showcase what skills will translate to the next level.

You can see how valuable Young is to this team as a bigger guard that has a lot of IQ and knows when to slow things down and when to attack. Young was surgical in all that he was doing last night. He could be an under the radar player that could land at a small school.

Patient player that lets the game come to him. He is not a high volume shooter but he has been playing high quality ball choosing high quality shots and he is scoring in double digits at times and other times he does it on the boards or assisting other players. He has the type of game that can catch you off guard because he is unassuming but the kid can hoop. Juan Diego is starting to get things rolling and Young is a big part in that.

An unheralded player on this Juan Diego team as Young as been quietly having a solid junior year. His transfer to JDCHS has been a well welcomed addition because he is a guard with some length that has been a solid two way player. Last night he provided a threat at all times when he touched the ball. Young made an impact in a loss and he has been a stat stuffer all year long.
