Holiday tournaments are just around the corner, but for the most part, aside from Saturday's FORUM Tipoff Classic, this will be a typical weekend across the Indiana High School Basketball scene. Prep Hoops Indiana will have boots on the ground coverage from Westfield High School on Friday night as the Shamrocks take on Guerin Catholic. Meanwhile, as always, we will have eyes and ears in gyms all across the state to bring you the best coverage possible. Let's take a look at five of the best games that you'll want to follow on Friday night.

Carmel @ Noblesville

Anytime these two north side powerhouses get together it will be worth the price of admission. Carmel, who is up to #4 in this week's Prep Hoops Indiana Class 4A Top 10, is off to a 3-0 start to the season while #9 Noblesville is looking to bounce back from an ugly 71-40 loss to Fishers. This matchup will feature Indiana Junior All-Star candidates [player_tooltip player_id='1560952' first='Evan' last='Harrell'] (Carmel), [player_tooltip player_id='1534261' first='Justin' last='Curry II'] (Noblesville), and [player_tooltip player_id='1561054' first='Baron' last='Walker'] (Noblesville) along with the Greyhounds' senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1296972' first='Alex' last='Couto'] who is headed to play at Huntington next season. Last season, New Palestine ended Greenfield-Central's undefeated season to win the Sectional 9 title. Now, the Cougars are ranked #2 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 4A Top 10 while the Dragons are #4 in the Class 3A poll. UConn signee [player_tooltip player_id='1296984' first='Braylon' last='Mullins'] is averaging 36.0 points per game for the 3-0 Cougars while Indiana Wesleyan signee is scoring 28.5 points per game for the 2-0 Dragons.
