Camare is extremely difficult to matchup with because he can hurt you in so many ways. At around 6'5 he has a strong frame that allows him to overpower guards around the rim, but if you defend him with size he has some wiggle off the dribble to make plays. Showcased good vision to get downhill and dump it off to one of his forwards, while also doing a nice job of playing off two feet and finishing at a high percentage inside. Plays an efficient game and helped lead his team to a win over Minneapolis North on Friday.

Marcus was just about the only source of offense for North on Friday. He's simply electric with the ball in his hands, and found a lot of success flying up the floor in transition, or freezing his defender with a shot-fake before blowing by off the dribble. At his size he's fearless attacking the basket and going right at taller defenders, and he showed good body control to hang in the air and finish around size. Never one to be short on confidence, Marcus has deep shooting range and isn't afraid to let it fly if you give him too much space. Finished with 37 points in the loss to Apple Valley.

Trey is another 2026 to know out of Apple Valley. He's an explosive athlete at 6'2 who provides a threat out in transition, but also showcased a nice pull-up jumper. Gets a lot of elevation when he has room to step into his shot, making it difficult to contest. I liked his decision making out in the open floor, and his effort to pressure the ball defensively. He finished with 15 points while also pulling in 8 rebounds in the win over North.

If you watched Jacob play on Saturday, you'd find it hard to believe he appeared in just 10 varsity games for Hopkins last season. Now at Minnetonka he's been a key player early in the year, and exploded for 28 points to helped lead his team to a win against Waconia. He's exceptionally quick getting to his spots off the dribble, and was finding success hitting shots from three or exploding to finish at the rim. Perhaps most impressive though was his intensity defensively. He was pressuring the ball hard every possession, and did a great job of fighting to get over screens. Opposing guards had very little success trying to attack the basket against him, and his pressure throughout the game helped force a handful of loose balls.

After a key player went down with an injury in the first half, you could really see Billy step up and look to take over. The Minnesota-Duluth commit knocked down a couple of threes, got out in transition for a few finishes, and did a great job of throwing the ball ahead leading to a few more easy buckets. He's always been a shooting threat with some length out on the wing, but you can see he's becoming much more comfortable with the ball in his hands looking to create for himself and his teammates. Scored a team leading 19 points in the win over Lakeville South.

Will was hitting tough shot after tough shot to keep his team in it until the very end against Minnetonka. He did a great job of creating space with a quick step-back to get into his pull-up jumper, and for a while it seemed like he couldn't miss. His scoring total was bolstered by some strong finishes inside. Will has put on some strength, and it showed as he was bodying defenders out of the way to score inside. I liked how he was able to recognize how tight the defense was playing him off the ball, and was able to beat his man to the basket a couple of times with some hard off-ball cuts. Finished with 36 points in the loss.

Malachi has been one of the best passers I've seen so far this season. He showcased not only impressive court vision against Edina, but also the uncanny ability to fit the ball through the smallest of gaps on the floor. He was threading the needle with accurate bounce passes, and hitting his cutters right on the numbers towards the rim. He's doing a nice job of filling in for some of that lost production from last year's senior class.
