Leading off the standouts from the FCA I-85 Battleground Showcase is [player_tooltip player_id='2314644' first='K'majay' last='Jenkins']. He had an impressive game in Westside's win over Franklin County (GA). Every quarter Jenkins would make a couple of plays that no one else on the court could make. Whether it was high-flying dunks, emphatic blocks, or self-created buckets, K'majay made it clear he was the most talented player on the court. The defense is the attribute that should have College Coaches interested, because even on a bad offensive night he will bring it on the other end. However, today was not such a night as he finished with 28 Points, 8 Rebounds, and 7 Blocks.

Next up on the list is Carrington, who is one of two Daniel Lions that impressed early on Saturday Morning. He had a balanced effort with 14 Points, 4 Rebounds, and 4 Assists in the game. Carrington is a lefty who can spot-up off the ball and create opportunities from the wing or operate from the middle of the floor and run sets. Tristyn has a strong frame which helps him around bodies in the paint but he is also creative when putting the ball on the floor. When driving, he is aware of his teammates and has a good feel for when a defense collapses around him. He also helped out with a couple of steals and a drawn charge.

Jackson is the second standout from Daniel HS and he had one of the best performances that I've seen from him live on Saturday. He started the game aggressively, hunting shots off the dribble and blocking a jump shot early. Conley is a skilled big man who handles the ball well, is a confident jump shooter, and can finish in the paint. In the second half, Jackson appeared to be focused on establishing paint positioning and crashing the glass on both ends. His length gives him a high release on jump shots, post moves, and layups. Conley finished with 15 Points, 6 Rebounds, and 2 Blocks in the loss.

[player_tooltip player_id='1982890' first='Colt' last='Fowler'] had a strong performance for Byrnes at the FCA I-85 Battleground Showcase, putting up 16 Points and 12 Assists in their matchup with Hueytown (AL). Fowler plays the game at an extremely fast pace, pushing the ball after rebounds, turnovers, and made baskets almost all game long. He is a tremendous passer who sees passing lanes as they develop and puts his teammates in a good position to score. Colt is also a knockdown perimeter shooter and hit both of his attempts from behind the arc.

Fabian was a pleasant surprise for the [program_tooltip program_id='2078741' first='Running' last='Rebels'] in Franklin Springs. He was very much a product of their fast-paced offense and the playmaking of Fowler, but give credit to McClintock for his effort, positioning, and finishing ability. He ran the floor all game long, found gaps in the paint and the dunker spot, and favored a power dribble when working for buckets. Fabian was also relentless on the glass and had a couple of second-chance scores too. He finished with 16 Points and 5 Rebounds in the win.

Bush was a big bright spot for Dorman in their loss to Habersham Central (GA) on Saturday. He was the only Cavalier to score in the first quarter, putting up 8 Points in the opening period including a three at the buzzer. He would go on to make three more perimeter shots in the game - several of which were well contested - showing off an ability to stretch the floor with his pure stroke and high release. Will also showed skill in working in the post and had a hook shot over each shoulder. On the defensive end, he was matched up with some true big men and he was strong to the task on most possessions. Bush tallied 18 Points and 8 Rebounds on the day.

Rounding out the South Carolina Standouts from the FCA I-85 Battleground Showcase is a Top 5 player in the Senior Class, [player_tooltip player_id='1341455' first='Abijah' last='Franklin']. He seemed to glide with the ball in his hands throughout the day, flying past defenders and into the paint frequently. Franklin has a knack for beating his man off the dribble and is both an athletic and crafty finisher at the rim. He displayed great body control and was calm when double and even triple teamed. Abijah didn't have his most efficient day, but he was still extremely productive and was a major factor in Wren's win putting up 35 Points and 10 Rebounds on 12-25 FG.
