Meyer didn't put up eye-popping numbers as a junior for the Golden Eagles, but part of that is a testament to just how balanced they were last season. He averaged 10.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game. He's a versatile three-level scorer with great size and length on the wing, using his 6-6 frame and longer wingspan to impact the game on the defensive end of the floor as well. He should shine as a senior for Wahlert, a team that could be among the most improved in 3A.

Meyer could be the next great tight end to play at Iowa, an athletic specimen with great size and hands, attributes that he uses to his advantage on the hardwood as well. He rebounds well on both ends of the floor, using his strength and athleticism to either carve out space or simply elevate above opposing players. He's a good interior scorer who can occasionally step out and stretch the floor as well, averaging 12.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.2 blocks per game.

McGuire was really good as a sophomore for the Dutch, helping lead them to the state tournament by leading the team in scoring (14.4) and rebounding (7.6), while also serving as one of the team's top playmakers. He has good size and length on the wing at 6-5/6-6, and he uses his length and footwork to score against defenders routinely around the rim. He's a highly efficient scorer, shooting just under 60% from the floor, and if he can add some consistent range to his arsenal, watch out.

The current #1 player in the state's 2026 class, Coon has picked up a number of high-major offers over the last several months following a great summer with D1 Minnesota. A hyper-athletic, long wing who can score from all three levels, control the game as a versatile defender or playmaker, and dominate the glass on both ends of the floor, he's the type of player who can take over a game even when he isn't scoring. He averaged 19.8 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 2.0 steals, and 1.4 blocks per game as a sophomore for the Tornadoes.

Clark is no longer the best kept secret in the state, now garnering significant interest from Big 10 schools (Iowa and Purdue have been in to see him at open gyms in recent weeks). A gentle giant with soft hands, elite footwork and touch, and good vision out of the post, he has worked hard on his game and the results are showing in a big way. He averaged 19.8 points, 11.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 2.2 blocks per game as a sophomore on 66-37-70 shooting splits, despite facing constant junk defenses.

Conley was the best player at Sioux City North last season, averaging 13.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 2.1 steals per game, and he has transferred across town to play his last two years at Heelan. A quick guard who can get to the rim, he does a nice job keeping his eyes up and finding open teammates when the defense collapses.

Nelson stuffed the stat sheet on both ends of the floor last season for the Cubs, averaging 15.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.0 steals, and 2.5 blocks per game on impressive 48-45-76 shooting splits. A physical and athletic 6-4 forward, his ability to step out and stretch the floor or bully smaller defenders on the block makes him a very difficult matchup at this level.
