<p><strong>Clarendon Hall (Summerton)</strong>: The Saints suffered on some tough times last season finishing just (5-17). </p>

<p><strong>Crestwood HS (Dalzell)</strong>: The Knights have plenty of talent back to make another run deep into the playoffs. The Knights finished last season at (27-2) and lost to Lower Richland HS 55-52 in overtime in the playoffs. This foursome of Seniors <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1215474' first='Teon' last='Tindal'],</strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1215473' first='Shannon' last='Davis']</strong>,<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='1095297' first='Xavier' last='Johnson']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1513461' first='Riley' last='Durant']</strong> all return for one final encore this season.</p>

<p>This set of seniors are looking to finish on top this season for Head Coach Aric Samuel. The Knights moved up to Class 4A this season and will battle the likes of Darlington HS, Lower Richland HS, Lakewood HS, Hartsville HS, Wilson HS and South Florence HS in Region play.</p>

<p><strong>East Clarendon HS (Turbeville)</strong>: The Wolverines were just (5-21) last season. The bright spot is youngster <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2618083' first='James' last='Gamble'] </strong>averaged 16 ppg last season as an 8th grader. </p>

<p><strong>Lakewood HS (Sumter):</strong> The Gators have football recruit back <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1465073' first='Cedric' last='Cisse']</strong> in the lineup. Cisse is a tough-minded guard who makes winning plays for his team. Seniors <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2532638' first='Tyler' last='Washington']-Broomfield </strong>and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1578600' first='Darius' last='Franklin']</strong> will provide some scoring production this season. Washington Broomfield a rugged forward also excels on the football field for the Gators. Franklin makes the move back to the county after attending Ridge View HS last season. Franklin didn't play for the Blazers after having an injury. He previously played his sophomore season at Sumter HS.</p>

<p><strong>Laurence Manning Academy</strong>: The Swamp Foxes will have a new head coach this season after longtime coach Will Epps left. <strong>Shane Goines</strong> is no longer with the program after moving to Georgia. Who will step up and lead the way for the Blue and Orange. </p>

<p><strong>Manning HS</strong>: The Monarchs will rely on jet quick left-handed guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1356854' first='Jeffrey' last='Ceasar']</strong> this season. Ceasar piled up some numbers last season for the Monarchs. Jeffrey averaged 17.6 ppg last season. Undersized senior post player <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2336204' first='Tavion' last='Carter']</strong> will provide some muscle and rebounding down low. He averaged 10.3 ppg and 12.6 rebounds last season. Youngsters <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2454355' first='Lovell' last='Stevenson']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2454352' first='Jordyn' last='Thompson']</strong> both averaged 7.3 ppg and 7.8 ppg respectively last season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2373168' first='Kazaveon' last='Frierson']</strong> will be a new name in the freshman class to watch for the Monarchs this season. The Monarchs dropped down to Class 2A this coming season. </p>

<p><strong>Ragin Prep Christian (Sumter)</strong>: The Rams finished (17-6) last season and lost in the SCISA Class 1A State Semifinals. The program is just entering its 4th year of play. Sophomore <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1806930' first='Zymir' last='Robinson-Hill']</strong>, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1806905' first='Cordell' last='Sims']</strong>, and<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='1806904' first='DeAndre' last='Richardson']</strong> are some names to lookout for from the Rams program. Robinson-Hill runs the show from out top while Sims a left-handed guard-wing brings some excitement to the table at times. </p>

Brown brings a good inside out game to the table. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1986979' first='Eli' last='Britt'] </strong>will provide some ball-handling and shot making from the perimeter this season. </p>

The Barons provide plenty of leadership back in Senior left-handed forward <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1407054' first='Hugh' last='Humphries']</strong>, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1407053' first='Shawn' last='Michael Matthews']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1242285' first='Ford' last='Wilder']</strong>. </p>

<p>Humphries a slender-sleek forward prefers to play his game out on the perimeter. Hugh averaged 11.3 ppg and 6.7 rebounds last season for the Barons (24-8). </p>

<p>Michael Matthews brings some much-needed toughness to the floor for the Barons. Shawn can play multiple positions on the floor. He brings a well-rounded game to the table while averaging 9.7 ppg, 5.2 rebounds and 4.6 assists last season. </p>

<p>Wilder just a junior has seemed to fill out his frame a bit more since last season. Ford averaged 6.5 ppg last season and don't be surprised if those number jump up this season. </p>
