Expert Analysis

Some of Rose’s success can be attributed to the excellent Point Guard play of Robinson-Hill. Zymir has a unique feel in this Ragin Prep offense and knows when and where his teammates need to get the ball. He is adept around bodies both off the dribble and in the air, frequently getting defenders on his back hip in the pick-and-roll or looking to finish through contact at the rim. Zymir is also a pesky defender with quick feet and active hands, tallying 3 steals in the shortened affair.

The semifinal portion of the 1A bracket began filling up with Ragin Prep being the first team to punch its ticket to semifinal Thursday at Wilson Hall. The Rams threw a balanced scoring effort at the Panthers and Robinson-Hill paced those efforts with 11 points en route to a 52-37 win for Ragin Prep. He is a talent that may be easy to overlook because of him standing at 5-foot-6 amongst a group of other talents that may be six feet or more. Robinson-Hill is one of three team captains on this season’s Ragin Prep rendition – and the youngest being a 2027. He can create havoc on defense by clogging up an opposing team’s passing lanes an can put points on the board at all three levels.

Robinson-Hill is a small guard who averaged 10.6 ppg this season for the Rams. Zymir wants to play 94 feet at all times it seems. He was able to connect on some shot pull-up jumpers today. Zymir at times needs to slow down things and checkout his personnel on the floor.
