Shannon was a key player in back-to-back games for Upward Stars Gold in Columbia. In Game 1, he had lots of success in transition due to his ability to read passes on the defensive end and finish athletically on the offensive end. He also knocked down a couple of jump shots, showing he can be efficient spotting up off the ball. In Game 2, Davis was more effective driving the ball. He got to the free throw line early, to the bucket late, and even sealed the win with a transition dunk. Although he scored the ball well and crashed the glass hard in both games, it was Shannon’s unselfishness as a passer that stood out to me most in the two Stars Gold wins Saturday Afternoon.

begins my list of Friday Standouts at the SCBCA Live Team Camp. He had a brilliant showing against Newberry early Friday afternoon, showing off his two-way playmaking and physical attributes. Shannon went for 11 Points, 7 Assists, and 5 Steals doing a little bit of everything in the Knights’ backcourt. Davis was at his best in transition with hit-ahead passes, coast-to-coast finishes, and high-flying slams. He had buckets from all three levels of the floor and his ability to create for himself and others helped his team build a large lead and earned him some extra rest at the end of the game.

Davis has continued his hot play for the Knights. Shannon has really stepped up his play this season for Crestwood HS. Davis has climbed from #59 to #37 in this latest update of the 2025 Palmetto State Rankings.
Shannon has a quick trigger from behind the arc. He has the ability to create his own shot while shooting the ball at a good percentage clip.

Davis has been on terror this past month or so with his play for the Knights. Shannon will certainly be a Stock-Riser moving forward here at Prep Hoops. He finished with 22 points in the win today over Irmo HS. Davis on 4 three-pointers in the win.
Shannon has the ability to create his own shot and for others with his play. He plays the game with a good deal of confidence, and it really sees to suit him perfect on the court.
