The 2026 rankings have been updated and today, we'll take a look at some of the region's notable stock risers.

There was plenty of movement across the board, notably in the Top 10, where two prospects made big jumps.

[player_tooltip player_id='2341304' first='Abdou' last='Toure'] continued to see his stock rise and now checks in at #3, up from #6 in our last update.

[player_tooltip player_id='2341352' first='Jaxson' last='Terry'] was another notable riser, moving all the way from #21 into the #7 spot.

Below, we'll take a look at five prospects that made substantial moves up the rankings in this update:

Rise: +6

Egbuonu, a national stock riser this spring and summer, followed up a huge sophomore season at Lawrence Academy by making a name for himself on the 3SSB with BABC. A physically imposing guard, Egbuonu is a good athlete that can score at all three levels. He has a quick first step, finishes through contact at the rim, and has developed into a consistent and reliable shooter from behind the arc. He thrives defensively, capitalizing on his athleticism, length, and strength, to be a multi-positional defender. He utilzies his physical tools and high basketball IQ to generate a lot of deflections, steals, and blocked shots. He's a definite Division I prospect that should have plenty of coaches following his progress this winter.

Rise: +24

Harrington, a big guard with a good feel for the game on both ends of the floor, rises up the rankings after proving to be one of the region's top perimeter shooters. A previously under-the-radar prospect, Harrington played a key role as a floor spacer last winter for New Hampton. He has in-the-gym range, does a good job of moving without the basketball, and seems to always be shot ready on the catch. As he's gotten stronger, he developed more of an off the bounce game, allowing him to leverage his shooting and attack bad closeouts. Defensively, he sees plays before they develop, allowing him to be disruptive in passing lanes. He'll continue to draw the attention of coaches with his elite shooting ability, but could continue to open eyes as he adds more elements to his game.

Rise: +19

Frink, a standout at numerous events this summer, climbs the rankings after a big season at Proctor Academy. The New England Storm wing had a terrific summer, showing his versatility on the offensive end of the floor and ability to consistently put the ball in the basket. He's a good athlete with long arms and nice positional size, that has shown the ability to make an impact on the game both in the halfcourt and in transition. He's a three level scorer that can make shots from the perimeter, steps into mid-range jumpers of the bounce, and has a nice first step when attacking the rim. He's a versatile defender that utilizes his length and lateral mobility to guard on the perimeter and make plays at the rim. He put himself on the map as a college prospect this summer and should continue to impress this fall and winter in the NEPSAC.

Rise: +51

Shepard, who had a solid summer on the travel circuit with RI Elite, was the biggest riser in our rankings update. A big combo guard, Shepard has a solid frame and continues to impress as an athlete, now finishing plays with authority above the rim. He's a tough defender, capable of guarding both spots in the backcourt, and is an impressive rebounder from the guard position. Offensively, he's dynamic with the ball in his hands, showing the ability to get wherever he wants off the bounce. He's a crafty finisher at the rim, showing the ability to finish with either hand in traffic. He's continued to improve as a perimeter shooter and shows signs as a playmaker in the halfcourt. He picked up a recent offer from Bryant and is on the radar of a handful of other D1s, proving that his rise up the rankings may not be done.

Rise: +22

Clark, who ran the show for Team Sims on the UA Rise circuit this summer, continues to prove that he's one of the top combo guards in New England. An impressive playmaker in the open floor, Clark did a good job this summer of running an offense and proving capable of playing as a lead guard. He does a good job of putting pressure on the rim in transition, is able to get into the teeth of the defense off the bounce, and has great floor vision in the halfcourt. He does a great job of finding shooters in positions to score and has nice burst as a finisher in the paint. Defensively, he's disruptive on the ball, showing off incredibly quick hands and great lateral movement. He's a definite college prospect that should only continue to get better over the next two years.
