About Brode
Expert Analysis
Robbie Hodin | Prep Hoops Scout
Frink looked like Proctor Academy’s best player against St. Sebastians, and though they took the loss, the 6-foot-5 forward showed off a really impressive ability to attack and finish in the paint. The senior wing is an amazing athlete who keeps his line quite well on drives, and he’s able to finish with contact when the trees come over. He’ll play college lacrosse next year but definitely could’ve played D3 hoops if he wanted.

Rise: +19
Frink, a standout at numerous events this summer, climbs the rankings after a big season at Proctor Academy. The New England Storm wing had a terrific summer, showing his versatility on the offensive end of the floor and ability to consistently put the ball in the basket. He’s a good athlete with long arms and nice positional size, that has shown the ability to make an impact on the game both in the halfcourt and in transition. He’s a three level scorer that can make shots from the perimeter, steps into mid-range jumpers of the bounce, and has a nice first step when attacking the rim. He’s a versatile defender that utilizes his length and lateral mobility to guard on the perimeter and make plays at the rim. He put himself on the map as a college prospect this summer and should continue to impress this fall and winter in the NEPSAC.

is an offensive wing who can do a little bit of everything. He is a threat from the three-point line and is awesome off the catch. Frink can also run off screens and shoot with confidence. Inside the arch, he can score with floaters and turn around mid-range shots to get buckets. Frink’s ability to fake defenders and create shots from thin air in the middle of the court is very impressive. In transition, he plays with pace and always gets to his spots on the floor. Defensively, Frink keeps his head on a swivel and times his steals very well. The combination of floor spacing and mid-court creation gives him an interesting mix that programs and coaches should covet in the future.
