Robbie Hodin | Prep Hoops Scout
You’d look at Bryan and think he’s a scoring guard, but he’s just a strong-bodied PG who loves to make the right play and very clearly doesn’t care about his stats. He’s a floor general who goes from good shot to great shot with a special consistency that few other high school players do. The rising senior completely runs the show for Proctor offensively but also takes charges on the defensive end and has super quick and strong hands, which he uses for steals. Bryan is a good rebounder for his size (6-foot-3), probably because of his strength in both his lower and upper body. Really fun player to watch whose college level is quite difficult to predict. Could be scholarship, but could be high D3.

Bryan, a guard out of Proctor Academy, checks into the rankings at #53, climbing 51 spots since our last update. The second highest climbing prospect in this update, he’s a power guard that has the ability to play on or off the basketball on the offensive end of the floor, while being a game-changing defender defensively. He’s a good decision maker with the ball in his hands, has the ability to create his own shot off the bounce, and uses his strength to not get pushed off the ball as a driver. Defensively, he’s got quick hands, moves his feet well laterally, and has the size plus strength combo to guard any spot on the perimeter. He’s a prospect scholarship level schools should take a look at this summer when he’ll play with NSSA.

Bryan, a member of the 17U P32 squad, is a power guard out of Proctor Academy in New Hampshire. At 6’3″ with a thick frame, he has the ability to play through contact off the bounce, gets to his spots in the half-court, and is an athletic finisher in the paint. He has a good feel for the game coming out of ball screens, shows a natural feel for playing with his back to the basket in the paint, and is able to score from the perimeter off the bounce. His playmaking, positional size, and scoring ability all combined to make him a versatile offensive performer. Defensively, he’s strong enough to check forwards in the paint and agile enough to guard any perimeter spot, while also proving to be a high level rebounder at the guard spot.
