Huff is a really solid athlete who did tons of little things for Proctor yesterday. He did a commendable job guarding Freeman on the defensive end, where he used his size, speed, and athleticism to stay in front of the D2 commit. Offensively, he hit a three and had some solid takes to the rim, but it’s his affinity for the ball and doing little things that makes him valuable. He’s tough when it comes to hunting down the rock, and he’ll guard anyone of any size and skill set. The junior needs to improve his handle, but he has another year to do so.

Huff is an interesting long term prospect as a result of his combination of size and skill. He’s 6-foot-3 but super long, and he has a really solid handle. He can get by his initial defender with quickness and speed and then has a nice bag of finishing moves at the hoop and high touch off the rim. He also made a ton of threes and has a nice shot. Most notable was his ability to fly down the court on offense and get back on defense; he’s in excellent condition and works his behind off to run the floor. The rising junior will certainly find a D3 fit in a couple years, perhaps at a high level if he continues to grow and improve.

Huff, a two-way wing out of Proctor Academy in New Hampshire, has done a nice job of developing his skillset and shows some good playmaking instincts. A creator with the ball in his hands, he does a nice job of playing at different speeds and utilizing changes of directions to keep defenders off balance. He knows how to play off two feet and does a nice job of limiting his turnovers. He can knock down shots in catch and shoot situations and makes good reads out of ball screens. On the other end, he knows how to play angles and does a good job in rotations.
