Dehaney was the engine of Proctor's squad last year and looks to be a huge piece again. The 5-foot-11 guard has excellent quickness and skill level and gets to wherever he wants on the court as a result. He shoots it well from three and the mid-range, and he can finish acrobatically at the rim with contact. At last month's open gym, the senior was dominant in terms of his scoring ability—nobody could stay in front of him and he was able to score in every way possible. Dehaney should be a high level D3 recruit, and whoever gets him will be getting a steal.

Cormier has gotten bigger and stronger since the last time I saw him, and it's paying dividends for him on both ends of the floor. The inside-out big can score in the post with his strength, size, and touch, but he can also knock down threes from the perimeter and drive closeouts against slower players. Defensively, he seems to have improved his lateral quickness, and the added strength means he can guard even bigger players. Cormier's game will fit perfectly into higher level hoops at Proctor, and it should also translate quite well to college hoops at the D3 level.

Scorza is legit. The 6-foot-8 sophomore has a phenomenal shot for his size and age and is lethal as a movement, spot-up, or off the dribble shooter—he gets it off quickly and isn't dissuaded by misses. He also handles the ball well on the perimeter and can get to the paint, use his body to bump the defense off of him, and finish with both hands. Scorza doesn't move like a 6-foot-8 sophomore, and he seems to still be in the midst of growing. I wouldn't be surprised to see him be an eventual scholarship kid down the road.

Huff provides size, athleticism, and versatility for Proctor's squad. The 6-foot-5 wing can guard multiple positions on the defensive end, and is able to play both on and off the ball offensively. He can get to the paint and elevate for dunks, but he's most impressive as a three-point marksman. If Huff can start the season shooting the basketball well and can get his confidence to a higher level, he could be one of the most impactful players on this Proctor squad. Definite D3 player.

I got a chance to watch Brown at Proctor's open gym last month and was impressed with his microwave scoring ability from numerous places on the court. He's a relentless rim attacker with good athleticism who can score at the rim, but he's also able to knock down shots from deep and has all the confidence in the world. He might need to reign it in and learn to facilitate a bit more, but there's definitely a role for him on this squad. Brown should get minutes and will have a chance to impress this season.
