Expert Analysis
Robbie Hodin | Prep Hoops Scout
Rabie is a true 6-foot-11 and has some very intriguing skills for the D3 level. He moves decently well for his size and is actually able to catch and finish around the rim with both hands, even on some low bounce passes. He had a couple post finishes, too, where he made nice drop steps and was able to finish with both hands. He can be a DHO hub and set screens as well, though he needs to be a bit stronger with the ball at times. Defensively, he walls up with his size and length and simply dissuades drives into the lane because of his size. Rabie is going to find a D3 fit by the end of the year if I had to guess.

Rabie, a forward out of Proctor Academy, made his presence felt in the paint on both ends of the floor. The 6’11” forward is a throwback big that uses his frame to his advantage, carving out space on the block as both a scorer and rebounder. He sets solid screens, rolls hard to the rim, and has a massive catch radius. I was impressed with his motor and mobility in this setting, particularly on the defensive end of the floor where he covered ground more quickly than I anticipated he would.

Rabie, the #6 Center and 86th ranked prospect overall, has a nice combination of size, skill, and feel for the game. At 6’11” with a big frame, he’s a difficult cover for opponents simply due to his size. But, on top of that, he has a high level of skill and the ability to finish plays as a scorer with his back to the basket. He’s a plus athlete, makes some good plays as a passer, and can really rebound the basketball on the defensive end of the floor. One of the more unique prospects in the region, he’s a scholarship level prospect that should pop on coaches radar this winter.

Rabie is a massive prospect that will look to make an impact this winter in his first year in New England. The Proctor Academy prospect makes his impact in the paint and does so with a commanding presence. He has the ability to score with his back to the basket, sets solid screens, and is capable of passing out of double teams in the post. He has a huge catch radius, a solid set of hands, and displays good footwork on his post moves. Defensively, he’s alert in rotations, does a nice job of holding his box outs, and can contest around the rim without fouling. He should attract some scholarship level attention and is a prospect to watch this winter.
