Prep Hoops Carolinas Freshman Showcase: 2028s to Watch

Prospects from South Carolina and North Carolina in the 2028 Class will be at the Rock Hill Sports &amp; Events Center on Sunday, September 8th for a packed day of head-to-head competition between some of the best youngsters that the area has to offer. Brice had a dominant year at McCants Middle School last year and spent the summer playing up an age group with [program_tooltip program_id='2078752' first='Upward' last='Stars 3SSB'] 15U. Wiersma is a confident jump shooter from three and can knock down a mid-range shot off the dribble too. Moore has impressed with his versatility as a scorer and as a defender, showing a good foundation for his jump shot and inside-out shot-altering. He is very fast in the open floor and is a difficult guy to stop in transition. Nelson also has a good jump shot from behind the arc and in the mid-range so he can't be sagged off at all. Caughman Jr has lots of size, long arms, and is very smart for his age and relative experience. Although he is only a rising Freshman, he is already starting to turn some heads in the Greenville area because of his play with Fisher Middle and [program_tooltip program_id='2076394' first='Team' last='South Carolina']. Kiishawn's quickness and playmaking ability will allow him to keep up with players older than him this weekend and help him make a statement in Rock Hill. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
