The Sophomore ID Camp had about half of the top 25 prospects in Minnesota's 2027 class. What did we see from those very talented players? We give you that breakdown now!

[player_tooltip player_id='2126467' first='Baboucarr' last='Ann'] of Maple Grove. After watching [player_tooltip player_id='2126467' first='Baboucarr' last='Ann'] I am going to say he is underrated in this class. As a prospect I think there will be a discussion someday about Ann having an argument as the best in the state if he keeps developing and playing the way we saw him play yesterday. He was that good in all ways.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126166' first='Jaylan' last='Hynes'] of Totino-Grace. Love his touch from mid-range, love his versatility, he can push and make a play, or run with a guard and catch to finish, and Jaylan defends. You might see some guys getting more headlines but when you compare notes across the board when it comes to everything they do, Hynes often comes out on top.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126102' first='Jaeden' last='Udean'] of DeLaSalle. Udean can get a shot off whenever and wherever. The range, first step, and separation allow that. He shot his team into games in a big way yesterday, but also took a ton of shots and when they didn't fall, his team fell behind quickly. Jaeden is the ultimate game changer with his touch and when the shot selection improves the percentages should be strong.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126442' first='Bennett' last='Cizadlo'] of Maple Grove. It was a good day for Bennett yesterday. He looks a bit taller, definitely stronger, and more agile too. He's filled out which looks to have improved his finishing around the cup plus Bennett seemed to shoot the ball well yesterday too from the perimeter. Good showing for Bennett.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126126' first='Ray' last='Brau'] of Hibbing. The model of consistency, [player_tooltip player_id='2126126' first='Ray' last='Brau'] gets to his spots in front of his competition game after game. Brau gets the edge on just about every big he plays because he is more consistent and plays smarter than his opponents.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126113' first='AJ' last='Taban'] of Stillwater. Taban definitely changed two games yesterday when I watched getting his body in front of the ball and stopping attacks or attempts dead in their tracks. AJ looks an inch taller and in that big body he does move well. When he got to the paint for post touches or put-backs, nobody could stop him. He would have had monster double-double numbers if he spent more time in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140712' first='Willie' last='Roelofs'] of Mahtomedi. I thought Willie had a good day at the camp. The 6'6 forward got to the glass or the loose balls and caught attention with his push or his floor run. Finished around the basket consistently as well when I watched.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126474' first='Kamar' last='Thomas'] of DeLaSalle. I would say that Thomas had about a dozen baskets going to the rim the game I saw him. His agility, strength and athletic ability at the wing was just way too far advanced for most of the kids at this camp. And that doesn't mean just the initial defender, the help defenders were often too small to do anything with Thomas too (if there were help defenders).

[player_tooltip player_id='2126465' first='Tommy' last='Schabert'] of Farmington. We spoke a lot about competing and the best way for Tommy to compete was rebounding and starting the break, and scoring in the paint or getting put-backs. Tommy did all of that playing his role the way he needed to.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126466' first='Kobby' last='Sambrew'] of Prior Lake. Kobby has grown in height, grown in length, growing in strength, and he looks far more agile than when I last saw him play. His defensive activity was excellent, his floor run was strong and there are things that he can physically do that most at the event could not. We did not get to see him with the ball much in either half we looked in on but took home enough on his growth to have an idea of what he could be.
