This was the first week McClure was at Fall League and he didn't disappoint. I was most impressed with McClure's defensive ability, sitting down and really guarding the basketball. A guard who wants to get to the rim off the dribble, McClure's shiftiness was tough to defend. McClure also had a game winning free throw with just a few seconds left in the final game of the morning.

One of the more physically imposing players in the paint that you'll see in the fall league, Cox has a big impact on both ends of the court. A tremendous rebounder, Cox is a player you need to put a body on to box out. One of the most aggressive players you'll watch, Cox does a nice job being physical but sometimes fouls a bit too much. Capping off a victory with a slam dunk was the cherry on top a strong performance for Cox on Saturday morning.

One of the most talented players in the fall league, Scholl usually plays on the 9th and 10th grade Division but had to fill in for a short-handed 11th and 12th grade team. His size and shooting ability is a big bonus for a player his age. Hoping to see Scholl expand his game, he showed some impressive flashes as a ball handler and creator. Scholl will be a key piece moving forward for a Big Walnut program that's on the rise.

One of the more consistent scorers and players in fall league to this point, Mitchell has been steady in his performance week in and week out. A talented shooter from the outside, Mitchell has always caught our eye with that ability. I've been impressed with the growth he's made as a ball handler and getting quicker as well. Expect to see Mitchell making a big impact for Upper Arlington this winter at the varsity level as the Golden Bears look to compete in the toughest OCC Division.

One of the more polished 2028 prospects I've seen so far, Johnson was a standout at our Freshman showcase and continued his impressive play on Saturday morning. Finishing well with his left hand at the rim, there's a few skills where Johnson is very advanced for his age. Excited to see how Johnson performs as a freshman at Centennial.

Stanley had one of the best stretches I've seen at the fall league when he scored maybe five or six baskets in quick succession. Able to score on the fast break, knock down spot-up shots and attack closeouts, Stanley has a lot of offensive talent. Will likely be a name many fans across central Ohio know about in a few years.
