At 6'5 he has a combination of length, strength, and lateral mobility that allowed him to guard the 2-4 spots. Showed flashes of rim protecting ability, moved his feet well on the perimeter, and utilized his length to get up in passing lanes and pick up a few steals/tips across the two games I watched. Offensively he's dangerous as a straight line driver and looks to have an emerging pull-up game. Should step into a big role for Tosa West as a junior.

I haven't seen many players at the 16u level this spring/summer who can score the ball like Michael can. For someone with his scoring ability he's very unselfish, but when needed his team can just give him the ball and let him go to work. His strong frame allows him to put the ball on the floor, pin his man on his hip, and work his way to the basket to score through contact. If he gets anywhere near the rim he's just too strong for most defenders to stop. Sag off though and Wilson can pull-up for three with a smooth left handed release. I also saw him defend just about every spot on the floor for [program_tooltip program_id='2141788' first='Mad' last='City Mambas'], where he has the ability to lock down on the perimeter or fight against bigger players on the block.

Moustapha impressed in the opening game of the weekend, showcasing springy athleticism and versatile scoring ability. The 6'3 wing has the ability to create his own shot off the dribble, and didn't need to pound the air out of the ball to get that separation. Was very unpredictable as he was scoring at all three levels, and was a nightmare in transition where he has breakaway speed and above the rim finishing ability.

Marquise was one of the most explosive prospects in attendance, able to take flight when given a path down the lane. Walker has a long and wiry frame that allowed him to get up in passing lanes to pick up steals, and from there he could get all the way to the rim to score. In the half-court he had some nice cuts off the ball to create open looks around the basket, and also provided an additional rebounding presence for his team.

Caiden was a key player for Jay Academy as they went on to take home the 15u title. He's a dynamic slasher out on the wing with a quick first step to rip and drive, and can just hang in the air to finish acrobatically around the rim. Not a lot of guys at the 15u level have that explosive burst that Caiden possesses to get up and finish at the rim like he can. Defensively he guarded a variety of spots on the floor, and was all over the place pressuring the ball as his Jay Academy team was causing havoc for the length of the floor.

There's no quit in [player_tooltip player_id='2399891' first='Nick' last='Howard']. His team fell behind early against Jay Academy and just couldn't get back into the game, but Nick's motor never stopped on either end of the floor. He was constantly battling for rebounds and working to cut his man off any time he tried to attack. Has a promising frame at 6'4 with solid mobility, and a frame that suggests he can continue to add strength/muscle. Offensively he has some range beyond the arc and is a worker around the basket who can finish through contact.

At 6'4, Max is a versatile player in that he can handle the ball for his team, or play out on the wing as a scoring threat. Against BTG he knocked down a handful of catch-and-shoot jumpers, and from there utilized a quick head-fake before beating his man along the baseline for a dunk. Added in another dunk off of a steal in the second half. Max has a great feel for the game, and changes his speeds really well on the ball, allowing him to beat smaller/quicker guards off the dribble. He's one of those players who never seems to get rattled or thrown off his game, and that helped his United Hoops team come back from a deficit to defeat BTG in their opener.
