1. Bay View -- The Redcats of Milwaukee Bay View have five starters back from a team that showed plenty of promise a year ago while finishing 13-12. Coach Damon Landrum starts his second season as Bay View's head coach with a returning first-team all-league performer back in senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='3021074' first='Darryl' last='Cooks'] (5-11, 22.2 ppg). Cooks headlines a squad that has plenty of backcourt firepower with junior [player_tooltip player_id='3021079' first='Dyeiontai' last='Perry'] (5-8, 5.0 ppg) and sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2907235' first='Chris' last='Watts'] (5-11, 13.1 ppg) also returning. Up front, Bay View will count heavily on junior [player_tooltip player_id='3021075' first='Isaiah' last='Wade'] (6-6, 8.8 ppg) and senior [player_tooltip player_id='3021076' first='Daquell' last='Dates'] (6-3, 11.1 ppg).

2. Madison -- Two players who received all-conference recognition in 2024-25 return for coach Bradford Handley at Milwaukee Madison. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='3021142' first='Kenneth' last='Jackson'] (6-4, 17.2 ppg) is the top returning player for Madison and was voted first-team all-league as a junior. Third-team selection [player_tooltip player_id='3021133' first='David' last='Stuart'] (6-3, 17.4 ppg) is also back for his senior season and gives the Knights plenty of versatility as he can play in the frontcourt and backcourt. Other key returning players for an experienced Madison squad include seniors [player_tooltip player_id='3021143' first='King-James' last='Coleman'] (5-10, 10.0 ppg), [player_tooltip player_id='2879101' first='Jamal' last='Covington'] (5-10, 12.6 ppg) and [player_tooltip player_id='3021140' first='Khamani' last='Welton-Clacks'] (5-11, 5.4 ppg).

3. Obama SCTE -- First-year coach Jonathan Holt takes over an Obama SCTE program that finished in second place in the White Division standings a year ago, but lost two second-team all-league performers to graduation in Isaiah McCoy (6-2) and Chanerion Mike (6-2). At the same time, the Cougars welcome back a first-team all-conference player in talented senior swingman [player_tooltip player_id='3021551' first='Demius' last='Johnson'] (6-4, 18.0 ppg). Johnson will be counted upon to handle things near the basket while Holt has a plethora of guards to work with, including senior [player_tooltip player_id='3021560' first='Damarius' last='Lee'] (5-11), juniors [player_tooltip player_id='3021559' first='Montreal' last='Battles'] (5-10) and [player_tooltip player_id='3021562' first='Alviontae' last='Peterson-Howard'] (5-5) along with sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='3021553' first='Breyon' last='Lamar'] (5-8).

4. Vincent -- After forfeiting its last nine games a year ago due to lack of eligible players, tradition-rich Milwaukee Vincent looks to turn things around in a positive direction under coach Rodney Buford in 2025-26. The top returning player for the Vikings is senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='3021197' first='Armonda' last='King'] (6-2, 12.5 ppg). He started along with junior [player_tooltip player_id='2485839' first='Kareem' last='Williams'] (6-3) and three others who exhausted their eligibility. Missing much of last season is a big hurdle to overcome, but Buford knows basketball and will try to get Vincent back in the thick of the White Division race this winter.

5. Lifelong Learning -- The Wizards have the difficult task of replacing two graduated players who earned all-league honors a year ago in Adam Turay and Zaccheus Hall. Rookie coach Kenney Taylor has a few returning players to lead the way for Lifelong Learning, including sophomores [player_tooltip player_id='2843027' first='Ayouba' last='Turay'], [player_tooltip player_id='3021125' first='Jordan' last='Shumpert'] and [player_tooltip player_id='3021121' first='Jason' last='Tiller'] along with juniors [player_tooltip player_id='3021124' first='Jacari' last='Gonzalez-Henderson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='3021122' first='Lamar' last='Walker']. Seniors [player_tooltip player_id='3021120' first='Brion' last='Shaw'] and [player_tooltip player_id='3021126' first='Jaquveon' last='Wright'] will provide leadership.

6. Pulaski -- Milwaukee Pulaski's co-op program with Carmen South and Carmen Southeast makes things a bit tricky for the Rams' program as the combined enrollments of the three schools lands the team in the WIAA Division 1 field for the playoffs. And competing in the lower division of the City Conference doesn't always prepare the Rams for the rigors of the difficult competition it will encounter in the post season. Still, coach Ken Edwards plugs along and looks for his team to better a 3-16 record behind the return of senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='3021166' first='Antonio' last='Lewis'] (6-4, 13.5 ppg), a second-team all-league pick last winter. Lewis is the most experienced player back at Pulaski and will lead a squad that also includes seniors [player_tooltip player_id='3021162' first='Amari' last='Wingard'] (5-9), [player_tooltip player_id='3021167' first='Demantae' last='Henard'] (5-11), [player_tooltip player_id='3021164' first='Sincere' last='Grace'] (6-3) and [player_tooltip player_id='3021168' first='Jamarrion' last='Brooks'] (6-0) along with juniors [player_tooltip player_id='3021161' first='Amin' last='Hasan'] (5-11) and sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='3021163' first='Elijah' last='Moody'] (6-1).

7. School of Arts -- Victories within the City Conference have been hard to come by for Milwaukee School of the Arts. The Crimson Stars have won just two of 36 conference outings over the past three seasons. First-year coach Tre Miller is hoping Arts can reverse its recent fortunes in 2025-26 behind the return of four starters. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='2957149' first='Hollis' last='Starlig'] (6-1, 8.2 ppg, 7.1 rpg), juniors [player_tooltip player_id='2957151' first='Thwee' last='Ka Nyaw Gay'] (5-10, 8.9 ppg, 3.5 rpg) and [player_tooltip player_id='2957157' first='Ja' last='Kobe Hill'] (6-2, 8.2 ppg, 4.7 rpg), along with sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2753930' first='Lavonte' last='Price'] (6-5, 6.0 ppg, 11.0 rpg) give the Crimson Stars an experienced base to build around. Providing depth are senior [player_tooltip player_id='2879118' first='Lakendrick' last='Hopson'] (5-8), junior [player_tooltip player_id='3021069' first='Charles' last='Crowell'] (5-10) and sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='3021065' first='Josiah' last='Brumfield-Carter'] (5-9).

Top Returning Scorers

[player_tooltip player_id='3021074' first='Darryl' last='Cooks'] (Bay View) 22.2 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='3021551' first='Demius' last='Johnson'] (Obama SCTE) 18.0 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='3021133' first='David' last='Stuart'] (Madison) 17.4 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='3021142' first='Kenneth' last='Jackson'] (Madison) 17.2 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='3021166' first='Antonio' last='Lewis'] (Pulaski) 13.5 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='2907235' first='Chris' last='Watts'] (Bay View) 13.1 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='2879101' first='Jamal' last='Covington'] (Madison) 12.6 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='3021197' first='Armonda' last='King'] (Vincent) 12.5 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='3021076' first='Daquell' last='Dates'] (Bay View) 11.1 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='3021143' first='King-James' last='Coleman'] (Madison) 10.0 ppg

Projected All-Conference Teams
First Team

[player_tooltip player_id='3021074' first='Darryl' last='Cooks'], 5-11, Sr., Bay View
[player_tooltip player_id='2907235' first='Chris' last='Watts'], 5-11, Soph., Bay View
[player_tooltip player_id='3021142' first='Kenneth' last='Jackson'], 6-4, Sr., Madison
[player_tooltip player_id='3021551' first='Demius' last='Johnson'], 6-4, Sr., Obama SCTE
[player_tooltip player_id='3021197' first='Armonda' last='King'], 6-2, Sr., Vincent

Second Team
[player_tooltip player_id='3021075' first='Isaiah' last='Wade'], 6-6, Jr., Bay View
[player_tooltip player_id='3021133' first='David' last='Stuart'], 6-3, Sr., Madison
[player_tooltip player_id='3021166' first='Antonio' last='Lewis'], 6-4, Sr., Pulaski
[player_tooltip player_id='2957151' first='Thwee' last='Ka Nyaw Gay'], 5-10, Jr., School of Arts
[player_tooltip player_id='2843027' first='Ayouba' last='Turay'], Soph., Lifelong Learning

The Big Five

Best Shooter: [player_tooltip player_id='3021074' first='Darryl' last='Cooks'], Bay View
Best Rebounder: [player_tooltip player_id='2907235' first='Chris' last='Watts'], Bay View
Best Defender: [player_tooltip player_id='2957151' first='Thwee' last='Ka Nyaw Gay'], School of Arts
Best Collegiate Prospect: [player_tooltip player_id='3021142' first='Kenneth' last='Jackson'], Madison
Most Improved: [player_tooltip player_id='3021075' first='Isaiah' last='Wade'], Bay View
