A quick-on-quick combo guard with speed to burn and aggressiveness on both ends of the court from minute one until minute 36. That sums up Cooks, who is putting up 31.5 points per game so far this winter for the Bay View basketball squad that has won seven of nine games. Cooks scores in bunches, particularly when he’s out in transition and can use his speed to zoom past opponents. He can also break down a defense in the half court to either finish with a floater in the lane or find a teammate cutting toward the basket. Cooks also can connect from deep and is especially effective with threes from the baseline area.
