At 6’4, Max is a versatile player in that he can handle the ball for his team, or play out on the wing as a scoring threat. Against BTG he knocked down a handful of catch-and-shoot jumpers, and from there utilized a quick head-fake before beating his man along the baseline for a dunk. Added in another dunk off of a steal in the second half. Max has a great feel for the game, and changes his speeds really well on the ball, allowing him to beat smaller/quicker guards off the dribble. He’s one of those players who never seems to get rattled or thrown off his game, and that helped his United Hoops team come back from a deficit to defeat BTG in their opener.

Max seems to produce every time I see him play. Now listed at 6’4 he has good positional size, with the ability to play either guard spot when needed. In the game I watched he spent time running the point, while also acting as a wing scorer at other times. He wasn’t forcing his game, and was able to put up points efficiently to help lead his team to a win over All Wisconsin. Was comfortably knocking down threes off the catch or dribble, and showed good change of speed to maneuver his way to the basket. Has the length that allows him to extend and finish against size around the rim. Helped his United Hoops team go 4-0.

Max does a great job of using his 6’4 frame to attack the basket for United Hoops. He just knows how to get his defender on his hip, and from there can dictate the rest of the possession as he works his way to the hoop. Against Diamond In The Rough he mixed in some tough finishes against size with a few outside jumpers. High release on his jumper makes it difficult to contest, and he was hitting big shots down the stretch to give his team a chance to win on the final possession.
