It was hard leaving Akbar off of either of my DMVlive teams, considering he was the best player on a Georgetown Prep team that didn't lose a game. Akbar did it all for Georgetown Prep, and even when his shot wasn't falling, his passing and rebounding were impactful. Akbar is a high-IQ basketball player and a great catch-and-shoot shooter. He averaged 18.5 PPG and 9.5 RPG in session one and then averaged 17 PPG, 9.3 RPG, and 6 APG in session 2.

[player_tooltip player_id='1782586' first='Aidan' last='Able'] was one of the best players in session 1. He isn't the most athletic guy, but his IQ and skill make up for it. He shoots the ball well and is a solid passer. Aidan was one of the better guards I saw all DMVlive, and John Carroll was one of the few who went undefeated. Aidan averaged 21 PPG and 4.7 APG in session 1 and 12.5 PPG in session 2.

[player_tooltip player_id='1782655' first='Prince' last='Moody'] showed every offensive ability he has at DMVlive. He had games where he knocked down threes and showed that he is an elite slasher. You're getting a high-level athlete in Prince who has a strong frame. Prince also had a great tourney as a facilitator, and he showed off his ability to play either guard position. Prince averaged 15.3 PPG and 6 APG in session one, then averaged 16 PPG and 5 APG in session 2.

[player_tooltip player_id='1494103' first='Jaquan' last='Womack']'s stock went way up at DMVlive. PVI was loaded with talent last year, many of which moved on to the next level. Their best player, [player_tooltip player_id='2148767' first='Jordan' last='Smith'], was also out, and Jaquan showed a lot to his game. PVI needed scoring, and Jaquan was aggressive and confident. I've always loved Jaquan's energy; he is more skilled every time I watch him. He has nice size, is a strong finisher, and shoots the ball well. He averaged 19.3 PPG in session one, 13.3 PPG, and 6.3 RPG in session 2.

You can put [player_tooltip player_id='1588139' first='Connor' last='Lyons'] up there with any shooter at DMVlive. At 6'7, Connor shoots the ball quickly and gets the ball over players with his frame. Connor had a few huge performances, and at the next level, he would be great if he could sure up a few other parts of his game. Connor averaged 21.5 PPG on 42% from three in session 1, then 17 PPG on 41% from three in session 2. Connor was close to being on my second team, but with all the talent at this event, he is only an honorable mention.

Gevonte Ware was a true interior presence for 1 of 1 Academy. He can step out and knock down jump shots, and he puts the ball on the floor well. Gevonte has a deep bag of skills; when he has to, he can do some of the things you want from a traditional big. He can do everything a wing can but in a Center's body. Gevonte averaged 10 PPG 12.7 RPG and 2 BPG in session 1. He then averaged 15.3 PPG and 8.8 RPG in session 2.

[player_tooltip player_id='1489025' first='Ashley' last='Sims'] showed off his skill in the paint with his footwork and finishing. Ashley used his size tremendously and did a great job on the glass. Ashley was a player whose stock rose, and after not knowing much about him coming in, he has no someone on my radar. He averaged 18.7 PPG and 8.7 RPG in session 1, then averaged 12.3 PPG and 10 RPG in session 2.
