Session two of the DMV Live took place last weekend, featuring even more teams ranging from Pennsylvania to NC and everywhere in between. There were hundreds of college coaches in attendance, the atmosphere was electric and the games were fantastic with a February vibe to them.

Here's a look at part 2 some of the MD standouts from the event.

[player_tooltip player_id='1588121' first='Sean' last='Harvey'] | 6'2” CG | Severn School 2026

Harvey is emerging as one of the top guards in Maryland and continues to see his stock rise with his Severn team that is on the rise. He's a strong guard who plays with great pace and is always under control with the ball in his hands, he showed great shot making ability both off the catch and off the bounce, he made good decisions with the ball in his hands and he rebounded well too. He finished the session averaging 18 points and 6.7 rebounds on 51.5%/45.8%/81.8% shooting splits.

[player_tooltip player_id='2353544' first='Corey' last='Dixon'] | 6'3” PG | Severn School 2027

Dixon is one of the more intriguing and talented young prospects I saw in the DMV over the last couple of weeks, and it makes sense when you find out he's the son of former Maryland star Juan Dixon. Dixon has a very mature game for a player of his age, as he understands the game with an advanced handle and playmaking ability, he made shots from multiple levels, got to the rim at will and made plays on the glass and on the defensive end too. He finished the session averaging 13.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.7 steals per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2620491' first='Diego' last='Joy'] | 6'1” PG | Lanham Christian 2026

Joy is leading an up and coming Lanham team that performed well in both sessions, and he's emerging as one of the best floor generals in the entire DMV. While we've seen him on the AAU Circuit with New World he was much more aggressive as a scorer with his high school team, using his shiftiness and change of speed to get to the rim, making shots in the midrange all while also setting up his teammates and setting the tone defensively as well. He finished the session averaging 18.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 3 steals per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1955967' first='Eric' last='Reibe'] | 6'10” C | Bullis 2025

It was hard to think that Reibe could increase his stock much as he was already a nationally ranked player and sought after by many of the top programs in the country, but he did just that with his productive play against some big time matchups in session 2. The German native showed the entire bag of tricks as he scored it well in the post with both hands, stretched the defense with his improved consistency from deep, scored it well in the mid-post and attacked the offensive glass well. He finished the session averaging 18 points and 6 rebounds per game on impressive 60%/40%/85.7% shooting splits.

[player_tooltip player_id='1371865' first='Akbar' last='Waheed III'] | 6'5” CG | Georgetown Prep 2025

Waheed was one of the biggest stock risers in the entire DMV Live event, picking up numerous high major offers and showing he's one of the best all-around guards in the DMV. At 6'5” he's a big guard who is fluid and shifty off the bounce with great change of speed, he touched the paint at will and made great reads to find his teammates, he made tough shots from all over and was great late in the shot clock, and he showed a great motor on the glass and on the defensive end. He has all the tools and showed it, finishing the session averaging 17 points, 9.3 rebounds, 6 assists and 1.3 steals per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1370506' first='Patrick' last='McDonough'] | 5'11” PG | Georgetown Prep 2025

McDonough may not have the ceiling of Waheed as he's undersized and not the greatest athlete, but he showed he deserves division one attention with his skill set and toughness that he brings every game. He's one of the most fun players to watch as he's a talented and shifty ball handler, delivers passes on a dot, shoots it well from deep, scores it in different ways and isn't afraid of any matchup or moment. He finished the session averaging 14 points and 2.7 assists per game, and had one of the best moments when he hit the game winning buzzer beater against Combine Academy.

[player_tooltip player_id='1782660' first='Qayden' last='Samuels'] | 6'6” WF | Bishop McNamara 2026

Samuels has emerged over the past year as one of the best prospects in the country, as he's grown 6'6”, grown into his body and become more athletic and has become an elite scorer on the wing. He displayed that quite a bit in both sessions putting up huge numbers and showing his ability to create space and make tough shots in isolation, drill it from deep off the catch, rebound to start the break and finish in transition and play through contact when he gets downhill. He finished this session averaging 18 points and 7.3 rebounds going an efficient 50% from the floor and 40.9% from deep.

Prince Alexander-Moody | 6'3” PG | Bishop McNamara 2026

Alexander-Moody is the other impressive guard in the backcourt for McNamara, and he is a perfect compliment to Samuels as he sets the tone defensively, makes plays on the ball and can also score it efficiently in different ways. He's a big lead guard who has long arms and is an explosive athlete when he gets downhill, he makes good reads when he touches the paint, he hits tough shots in the midrange off the bounce and he can knock it down from deep off the catch. He finishes the session averaging 16 points and 5 assists per game while posting 50%/40%/100% shooting splits.
