Digital Pioneers:

Seyon Harsley, 6-4, WF/G, 2026 - Brings legitimate size and versatility to the perimeter, in addition to advanced pace / change-of-speed, creativity, and nuance as a 3-level scorer. Utilized his natural tools well on both ends in the game. Look for Seyon to be a major productive player in the Championship Game against Kipp Legacy College Prep on Sunday.

Ja'von Johnson, 6-4, WF/G, 2027 - Johnson really impressed throughout, as it was hard NOT to notice his overall impact on the court. Playing aggressively, assertively, and with non-stop energy, Johnson stayed in attack mode throughout the camp. The 6'4 prospect was relentless in his ability to score around the basket and make plays off the bounce, while also impressing out in transition with multiple throwdowns. Johnson was active on both sides of the court, as he filled it up and made his presence felt.

Ethan Mekhi-Bennings, 6-6, F, 2027 – Ethan is an intriguing young prospect who offers a blend of size, versatility, athleticism and natural feel for the game. He shows comfort operating both inside and along the perimeter, impacting play in a variety of ways while bringing strong intangibles that translate to winning basketball. With his physical tools and developing skill set, Mekhi-Bennings possesses clear long-term upside and is a name to track as he continues to grow.

Keenan Parker, Jr., 6-3, SG, 2026 - I was highly impressed with the play of Parker on or off the ball his confidence is at an all-time high in this game as he knocked down three deep 3's in the game. He had that mentality of “give me the ball and let me make a play,” and that is what he did in the first half of the game. He scored with ease from the perimeter and with range, shifty creator off the bounce, and scoring from all over the floor. Impressive guard that plays with feel and maturity.

[player_tooltip player_id='3352254' first='Kenneth' last='Borders'], 5-8, PG, 2028 – Clearly one of the more dynamic creators and scorers on display, he had no issue making his presence felt as a focal point. Borders is an intelligent, high-motor lefty guard with an unselfish mentality and the ability to consistently make plays with the ball in his hands. He's a very crafty ball-handler who can reliably break down defenders, touch the paint, and finish or set up others. Borders display sharp playmaking instincts and a desire to make the right play whenever possible. He's a strong defender, especially at the point of attack, and forces turnovers at a quality rate.

[player_tooltip player_id='2623275' first='Anton' last='Arrington'], 6-8, PF/C, 2027 – Though he was the biggest prospects in the game, you can clearly watch Anton has that “it” factor in his game with fluidity, understanding, and overall feel for the game; it looks smooth on both ends of the floor. Anton combines strong IQ, strength, and positional size to impact the game in multiple ways, rebounding, forcing turnovers, and consistently making the right play. With his productivity and feel for the game at such an early stage, Anton carries significant long-term upside for the Poineers next season. And look for him to be a force in the Championship game on Sunday.

DC International:

Jhalil Route, 6-7, G, 2026 – Jhalil is a diamond in the rough and piece of clay as a 6-foot-7 prospect in the Class of 2026. Given his blend of size, motor, and general upside, he possesses a variety of intriguing qualities. Route is long, wiry, and able to impact the game with or without the ball in his hands. He's a low-maintenance piece who knows how to operate within the flow of the action and capitalize as needed. Route rebounds his position well and displays solid instincts defensively. Next in his development process is working on getting stronger, as it would make him a more imposing two-way player. Route finishes well in transition. He has a good motor and knows how to properly fill the lane. He is a good teammate with an unselfish approach to the game. Needs to continue working on his court vision.” Route struggled a little in the Pioneer Academy game because of the athleticism and strength. But look for Route to continue to steadily progress over the coming years at a Prep School or Junior College.

Letroy Durrett, 5-11, PG, 2029 – I really liked what I saw from Durrett overall game, he looks to have a bright future. Durrett brings intriguing value as a playmaking guard who thrives when attacking the defense. He does a strong job getting into the paint, where he can finish over defenders or create quality opportunities for teammates. In addition to his playmaking instincts, Durrett has flashed the ability to score at multiple levels, giving him a balanced offensive.

Kaleb Urib, 6-4, WF, 2029 – A player who I was not familiar with coming into this game, Kaleb Urib, showed all of the makings of an intriguing wing prospect with size. Yambayamba knew how to get to his spots to get open 3-pointers, was comfortable shooting off the bounce if you ran him off the line, and possesses the athleticism to finish over the top of you at the rim. Kaleb is a long-term upside to monitor as he continues to grow and develop.
