The Shenandoah commit has been the top prospect in the conference and maintained that spot all season. Once again, was the engine for Severn in this one as he initiated offense and set the tone with a couple of three’s before becoming more of an off-the-dribble threat in iso’s. Harvey did a nice job of slithering his way into driving lanes with his long stride or using his wingspan in transition to force defenders in fouling scenarios. He tied his backcourt mate for a game-high 19 points in this contest and although Severn came up short on the scoreboard, there were plenty of instances where Harvey showed promise to have a productive start at the Division III as a freshman.

Harvey steps into the primary scoring option for the Admirals this season after losing last year’s engine, Kingston Price (Fordham), to graduation. The 6-foot-3 two-guard has shown that he’s able to shoulder the responsibility with a strong summer on the UAA Circuit and throughout the scholastic live period as well as fall showings. He’s a capable shot-maker from all three levels, but when operating off the bounce, is looking to gain an edge on his defender and finish around the rim. He can use his quick first step to attack defenders on kick-outs or swing passes and has enough explosion to make a play at the rim through traffic.

Harvey had a strong showing on Saturday at The Challenge as he further proved himself as one of the more underrated scorers in the MIAA. The 6-foot-3 guard comes with good positional size and while he’ll need to add mass to his frame in the long term, Harvey’s length comes into play when he rises over smaller matchups to get his shot off cleanly. He’s getting recruited by a DII program who was in attendance as well as multiple DIII programs such as Randolph-Macon. If I was a DII or DIII staffer, I’d be doing my due diligence with the senior guard, who is primed to put up big numbers for Severn this season.

Harvey had a strong outing to begin the event against John Carroll as Severn came out of the gates scoring in bunches. John Carroll would ultimately adjust and win the game, but Harvey’s ability to maneuver his way to the rim and use his athleticism to make it difficult on opposing defenders to contest helped him remain consistent. Harvey led the Admirals with 15 points and 19 points in their two games on Saturday. He brings positional size at the guard spot, good wiggle with burst playing off the bounce, and a confident shooting stroke off the catch that he uses to quickly fill it up when his confidence is flowing.

Harvey’s name started to be the topic of conversations this summer as well between his showing throughout the June live weekends and his production with DC Premier . A lanky, 6-foot-3 guard with three-level scoring ability, Harvey emerges as a primary option for head coach Mike Glasby this season. Severn has proven to be a consistent force in the MIAA B Conference and Harvey has plenty of experience in helping with those efforts. Now as one of the main focal points, the Admirals will depend heavily on his improvements over the last six months to put them in a position to contend once again for the conference hardware come early 2026.

-Harvey has long impressed as a shooter that can create space well for himself to score from all 3 levels but he was impressive for different reasons in this showcase. Harvey showed some improvements in how he scans the floor before even making the catch in order to get right into his move as soon as he has the ball. Harvey found guys well both in the halfcourt and in transition in moments where he didn’t always have his head up scanning the floor for passing options other times that I have seen him play. Strongly believe that if he is a threat to both pass and score– he can only help his recruitment as he goes into a senior season where he will be paramount to Severn’s success.

Sean will light up the floor given the space to comfortably pull the trigger. He has the confidence and the trust to take the shots he likes. Sean takes a shots he feels he can make all game long. He will get off his smooth jumpshot against any defensive look, and rises over contests with his size and fluidity. I feel Sean is just as efficient now shooting off the dribble as he is spotting up. His offensive game has improved and evolved consistently over his career. I expect his biggest jump to come this upcoming senior season, as Sean will have the keys to fully unleash his offensive arsenal. One of the most productive summer performers in the DMV.

is an absolute bucket, and he showed that today in a Severn win. He scored the ball in every way possible while being uber-efficient. He had a handful of great drives to the rim and had a couple of nice moves in the mid-range. He hit a floater and of course, showed off his elite shooting ability. Sean’s jump shot looks perfect mechanically, and it feels like he’s never going to miss when he lets the ball go. He is an elite scoring guard and one of the better two guards in the summer league. He finished with 35 points and 9 rebounds.

Harvey is a prospect known for his ability to make shots. He uses his length on the defensive side of the ball to contest shots. Harvey is a threat from deep with a picturesque release. He has some pep in his step when he is on the attack. He finds ways to score around the bucket. Hoping he could add some more weight onto his frame.

Harvey is an interesting prospect, especially with what he could ultimately be at the end of his high school career. He has solid size and strong frame already at a young age, and he made his presence felt on the defensive end as well as showing versatility to his game. He can guard multiple positions on the court and really stepped up in making his presence felt against some of the top prospects at the event.
