After a very slow first half in a highly anticipated matchup against Highland, Reibe responded with a stellar second half. His fourth quarter was especially impressive, trading late clutch baskets with top five prospect, Nate Ament. Reibe’s combination of size and touch was a ton to deal with. The skilled big man knocked down multiple pick-and-pops threes along with a smooth midpost jumper. In what ended up being a tough four-point loss, Reibe scored 20 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.

20p 10r vs Highland
-UConn commit overcame some early foul trouble to leave his mark on a hotly-contested game against Ament. Reibe finished 6/7 in the 2H to make it a 1-possession game late, showing the full range of offensive skills that make him such an intriguing prospect. Reibe sank two 3s, spun off his matchup for a 2-handed dunk off the drop step, hit a nice face-up touch shot from the short corner, hit a big putback late, and was the most active I’ve seen him on the glass. Defensively he worked hard to stay in front but will need to take better angles as a helper off of screens to stay in the play to contest a jumpshot or defend a basket around the rim without fouling.

Previous Rank: 6
-The big fella made the leap from 6 to 3 off the strength of a strong summer with Bullis, Team Museum , and at several elite individual player camps. The German national blew up on a national scale this summer as college coaches got a chance to see him for the first run of extended playing time stateside as a versatile forward prospect that can stretch the floor with his shooting, score with a soft touch in the paint, and play-make from the high post. Arguably one of the best long-term prospects in the area, Reibe has a chance to stamp himself as a national name if he is able to remain healthy and lead Bullis to another IAC championship while winning individual matchups along the way.

fits it perfectly offensively. Eric is 7 feet tall, can shoot and put the ball on the floor. He moves well for a guy his size and is always in control of his body. His footwork was elite both weekends, and Eric is undoubtedly one of the best big guys in the country. Eric will be a professional at some point, and he was one of my favorite players. Eric averaged 11.5 PPG and 6.8 RPG in session 1. He then averaged 18 PPG in session 2. The numbers may not be as eye-popping as some other guys, but Eric was wildly impressive and a big part of Bullis’s great defense.

picked up a bunch of offers from some top-notch D1 programs today, and if you watch him, it’s easy to understand why. Eric hit a couple of threes early in this game and played a near-perfect offensive game. Eric had 15 points on only 5 shots in a game that Bullis cruised to victory. These are back-to-back amazing days for Eric.
