Titans Rockets Classic: Impressive 2026s

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The "Summer Ball" season is now over after the annual Titans Rockets Classic in Shelbyville. Saint Xavier won the 64 team tournament over Great Crossing. Here are some of the Juniors who stood out to me. Keep in mind that I did not see every team play. Edelen is a pest on defense and is much more of a playmaker than he was when he was younger. He was electric with the ball in his hands and made shots when needed. Jonathan is very steady and doesn't get sped up. My biggest complaint about him has been that DeMarcus can become too complacent but this new Douglass roster cannot afford for him to be that way. But in the second half, Whitehead came to life. He showed the ability to create offense through his defense with a couple of steals and got some shots to fall. DuBois on Friday, I got the full experience. He has never met a shot he doesn't like but once he got hot, Jacob was pulling up from almost half court and hitting. A lightning quick release and "in the gym" range makes Jacob an elite shooter in the Stephen Curry mold with his size and quick mechanics. Jacob also showed that he can get to the rim and finish. He needs to improve his one on one defense but Jacob is possibly the best offensive player in the 2026 class.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
