Section 7 Recap: Under The Radar 2025's

Section 7 Took Place June 21st – 23rd at State Farm Arena in Glendale, Arizona featured some of the top West Coast High School Programs. The event was filled with college coaches of all levels, providing players with the perfect opportunity to impress. With so many terrific players there was bound to be a handful of great performances that went under the radar. Here's some from the class of 2025.    The Cimarron Sharpshooter was really good throughout the weekend. He showed a solid game, including the ability to make plays for teammates. He was efficient and steady, going for nearly 10 per game.     Rone knows what he is and he consistently applies his best skill. He got out in transition, and showed the ability to be a high level through contact finisher. He was productive, averaging nearly 8 per game.     Got to give the Faith wing some love for playing hard. He sacrificed his body several times for lose balls and rebounds, averaging 6 and 3 during the weekend.     There's a lot to unpack with Knoll possibly going over to Sierra Vista, the most important being that the 4A champs could be getting the state's top glue guy. This weekend, we got a glimpse of what that may look like, as addition to all the little things, he put the ball in the hole, and cleaned the glass, averaging 12 - 7 for the event.     The PG showed his Pedigree during the weekend, putting together some solid performances despite having to adjust to a new group of guys. The combination of he and [player_tooltip player_id='1266705' first='Jevon' last='Yapi'] in the backcourt is frightening, and he managed to be effective both when on the ball as well as off.     The Rams went winless this weekend, however that shouldn't diminish the play of Lide. The PG was marvelous, using the combination of deep range shooting, to go along with some nifty around the rim finishing. He ended up being a 23 points per game scorer at the event.     Jefferson's been so good for so long that sometimes he gets taken for granted. The PG is a winner, and he showed it this weekend. He played a solid all around game, scoring, defending and setting up teammates, en route to a solid all around 12-4-4 weekend.     Rabb always seems to fly under the radar, however he's continued to put together productive year after productive year. This included a solid Section 7 showing where the versatile forward impacted the game in a variety of areas including his interior defense and rebounding. He led the Longhorns in scoring during the event averaging over 15 per game.
